But why is ok to make all the quest and gain 285+extra rare?
that gices a littlie more breathing room, otherwise the tourn would be another "starter decks"- tourn.
I assume the winner gets the forum icon to his/her normal ("forum") acc.

btw, I'm just nitpicking- I won't be able to participate, due to IRL.

1) It's impossible to know if your oponent is using the trick (unless he's using a weapon), that's why it's legal.
2) How long do you expect you can take to reach 500 score and reset your acc? Not enough to be able to do it between matches (best of 3), so it would only be useful 1 time and you can have only 1 weapon in the whole tourney. Of course, if you want to change your deck, the trrick is gone.

The whole "trick" is based on the fact that you can do the quests, then reset, and still get the rewards. Which means even if you reset again, you will still have the rewards.

Just have people create their accounts 15 minutes before the tourney.  The TO can announce some sort of naming criteria right before we start, like your user name has to contain the word 'frog' or the number '1896' or something.  Unless someone happens to have an alt they are willing to reset with the random criteria, then everyone starts on the same footing and nobody will be able to spin oracle or whatever.  (like I could have made an alt a couple days ago and been saving up electrum and selling any rares/nymphs I spun on it)

the problem with spinning oracle for a few days and selling cards for electrum is that the benefit is usually pretty small and if you want to change the skeleton of your deck, you will need to reset your account after game 1 or 2 and you lose all of that. So, I think your point is moot.

I won't agree that it's just a small advantage, I think it's pretty big if you started the day it came out and in total spun the oracle 5 times i think that would generate around 250 if not more. In real life 250 is nothing but for a beginner it can be pretty good.

I don't think we want this tourney based on who has the best luck at oracle :P
I love dragon's idea, this won't make the tourney based on who had to reset and lost the quest rewards first because they got hard countered and need to get around that.

Yes, I like the idea of dragonsdemesne.
15 minutes before tourneys starts, the TO says what numbers or letters the name should include.
I also would say rare cards should be banned. It's easy and fast to get a score of 500 if you know how.
The decks would be more "newbie-like", because the participants won't have the electrum.
For me, I created an account and I have 3 good decks for the tourney now, just because of the extra electrum...

I think it would be more fun without rares...

We can do that another time if you like. Fact is we've had tournaments in the past where you could only duel using the starters and also duel using only the resources you have with a new account. As such this tourney'd be identical to that one. That's not a bad thing per se, but this tournament is not the same. We can have another tourney like that later since there seems to be public support for it.

Please be reminded that you SHOULDN'T spin the Oracle at any time with your tournament account. Please respect the honor system, so that we can have a fun tournament together :)

As Higs said, there are similar tournaments in the past. They were obviously more "fair" and newbie-friendly as some suggested, but this time the goal is to let you have a little more resources, thus more skill is required.
TIME is around us. It flows silently, trying to take everything away from us.

I disagree. As long as people are forced to state what account they're using before the tourney, they should be allowed to use their own alt if they so choose. I doubt I'm the only one with a disposable alt account.

This just in, I've discovered that I'll be able to participate in this after all :D
Thus, I now have a question. Let's say I build deck A. Deck A is good, but I don't want to use the same deck the whole tourney, that'd be..boring and stupid. So I reset my account, and make Deck B. Like Deck A, both decks follow all other rules (0 games played, 0 score, no grinding done, just starting resources + quest rewarded  :electrum). Is this allowed? Or must I only use one deck the entire tournament?
