Weekly Tournament - November 14th - Potluck Rules- UnupgradedTournament Organizers: Ginyu, mathman101, or MeowMeowCat

When? To find out your local time, check this link: http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/fixedtime.html?msg=Weekly+Tournament&iso=20151114T02 Tournament has started.

Where? Please enter the Tournament room at least 15 minutes before the tournament starts. Click "Rooms" in the top left to find it.

Rules Please read the PvP Tournament rules carefully before joining the tournament. Remember to also read the Special Rules listed below!

Prizes 1st place 5,000 electrum + Nymph/Mark + Trophy (Forum Icon) 2nd place 3,000 electrum 3rd place 2,000 electrum In case of 32 or more players, tournament prizes will be increased.

Points for the World Championship 1st place 4 points 2nd place 2 points 3rd place 1 point

NOTE: You need just one presentable forum post to be allowed to join tournaments; you can post it here. If this will be your first tournament, a Tournament Organizer will test your knowledge about the rules. So please be present in tournament room 30 minutes before the tournament starts.



Special Rules

• Always read the second post! It contains equally important information most of the time.
• Upgraded cards and shards are banned.
• Each deck must follow the deckbuilding rules determined by the diceroll in chat, which will be performed by a Tournament Organizer. These rules will remain in effect for the rest of the tournament.
• You will have 15 minutes to build your decks at the beginning of Round 1.
• A list of the potluck rules will be provided in the FAQ.

If you think there is an overpowered card that ought to be banned, or you have some concerns about the tournament metagame, mechanics or other stuff, do NOT post it publicly in the comments or anywhere else on the Forums. Instead, send a private message to Tournament Organizers, who will privately discuss about it. Thanks for your cooperation.

That's pretty much it.

In potluck rules, Rule 11 Column C - "The off-element: No cards with the same ability cost as their element"

What about a Graboid, because it begins with time (evolve) then ends up with earth (burrow), which is it's starting element?

Only the cards in your deck matter, so a Graboid would be allowed.

That "(about) 2 days" is 2 days and 20 hours right now (btw it's 11th today), so pretty much 3 days from now.

For clarity purposes, Timezones can affect the days that tournaments are held on, depending on where you live. For example, this tournament is being hosted at 0200 GMT. This translates to 2100 EST, which would actually make the tournament fall on Friday the 13th for me. The world clock and timer is correct.
