I imagine we'll end up rotating the time each week too. That way everyone should be able to make it, if not one week, then the next.

We're planning on trying out an 8 hour rotation from one week to the next (3 different times of day total).

why do we have to have at least 30 forum posts, i think thats a little difficult for someone that likes to play more than type messages to everyone that doesnt respond for like a week

Have you read the general tournament rules thread (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,6997.0.html) yet? If not, I suggest you do. The following passages are extremely helpful:

30 post minimum

The 30-post rule got rid of all the cheaters and most of the noobs that either slow down tournaments to a crawl, making it insufferable for all players involved and especially the Tournament Organizer who is doing this work for no other reason than good will, or even cancelling the entire tournament. It will not be replaced or removed, because there is no replacement. We don't make rules arbitrarily, so know the reason before you try criticism.

It's also extremely easy to make 30 valuable posts without having to resort to pointless spamming. This is not to prevent people from playing -- it is to ensure that people have a basic understanding of how the forum works, and have read and understood the tournament rules (both the general guidelines here, and the special theme rules for each tournament) before the tournament starts.

Oof, just noticed that the decks have to be 30 cards.  I'd been thinking of a few ideas while I was here at work, and now I have to rethink about half of them due to that :p  I just hope I can be up at 9am to play, not to mention I'll have to build decks, get breakfast, etc, before then, all on a Saturday... ugh :p  If I don't manage to get my fat dragon arse out of bed in time, best of luck to you all, and hopefully this new plan increases the turnout.

Do I clearly understood this 'pyramid': We need to have 1>2>3>4>5>6 copies of each card we have in deck not counting pillars-pendulums and our decks must be on 30 cards, no more. Than from that we need to have 1+2+3+4+5+6=21 cards and 9 pendulums-pillars or 1+2+3+4+5=15 and 15 pillars-pendulums. Am I right?
