Players who lose their quarterfinal (Top 8) matches will compete for the 5th and 6th place prizes in a mini-tournament. Prize-eligible players (namely, ones in the top 8) who leave the tournament without notifying the Tournament Organizer of their intent are considered to have forfeited their match, and also their prize.

Special Rules

• Shards are not allowed.
• Upgraded cards are allowed, but not required.
• Each deck must contain 32 cards:
  
  • 2 Quantum Pillars/Towers
  • 25 cards from element A (At least 10 Pillars/Towers)
  • 5 cards from element B
  • Mark of element B
• You can only include at most 2 copies of a non-pillar/pend/tower card.
• Up to 20 cards in your deck can be upgraded.
• "Other" cards (except Quantum Pillar/Tower) and Miracle are banned.

Fantastic idea.   I won't be here (something something, sister getting married, more important...) but this definitely has the dragon stamp of approval.

Just as a question, though, are upped and unupped versions of a card considered the same card for the 2 card limit?  I'm assuming so, but you might want to clarify, particularly for cards such as toadfish/pufferfish; somebody might conceivably try to bring 2 of each of those, thinking they are different cards.  Same thing goes for cards where the name changes when upped; 2 flooding + 2 inundation, 2 phoenix + 2 minor phoenix, etc.
