So can we use Flying Weapon in this tourney? Methinks it technically spawns an inorganic creature.

FW is a spell, so you can use it alright... but it'll be useless to you since all weapons are permanents. Even if it counted as a creature, you'd be playing a deck with both perms, creatures and spells.

I just realized that owing to the time of this tourney I can't be there (I have somewhere to be 4 hours after it starts, so if I advanced far I wouldn't be able to finish) but I wish those who are there the best of luck.  I don't remember the exact winning decks from last time, but I do remember which of the three categories won, and which of the three I was playing, so it will be interesting to see whether the meta shifts simply because people know what happened last time or not.
