No. We've had shard tourneys before and we'll keep having them. You can imagine why we had a SoSe tourney; it's hella fun. Some of the underused ones will see exposure too (SoV, SoI, etc.).

I assure you the lack of participants was not the result of allowing shards It was mainly because it started at a terrible time.
