War #4 - Sportsmanship Award

As a team, please select three players from the Team Rosters (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,31677.0.html) thread who are not on your team.  The General or Lieutenant should PM the Warmasters (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?action=pm;sa=send;u=2694,3167) with the team's votes (Timer Expired!)

Votes from each team will be aggregated and the player deemed most worthy by all War participants will receive a forum award icon.

Well, I know a few people who won't be getting my vote for this one :p  (I'll mention specifics in chat; I don't want to piss anyone off when secret forums become public)

Any of the opponent's I've had in War so far have all been sportsmanlike in our matches, so any of them would get my vote.

May i vote for MrBlonde? Even though i lost against him, it was one of the funniest match i ever had!

I have no problem with that; MrBlonde seems to be a nice guy, and I haven't seen him do anything unsportsmanlike.

I'd like to vote for Zeru for sportsmanship award.  In our light match, he probably could've been an ass and caused drama over the desynch in game 3, but he just conceded it because I was going to win it if we hadn't desynched.  (we couldn't play AIs because on my side, all his creatures disappeared and turned into one lone RoL)

My 2 cents - the two opponents I've enjoyed the most playing against were The Dictator and DrunkDestroyer. I won against the 1st and lost against the 2nd.

The Dictator was really a great, fun and polite guy, regardless of whether he was winning 2-0 or losing 2-3 at the last moment. It's pretty easy being nice when you're crushing the opposition, but it impresses me when someone goes through a frustating adversary comeback, being 1 hp short of winning on game 5, and can still praise the game and be extremely courteous.

DrunkDestroyer was all around a great guy to play against, very polite and very nice to chat with during and after our match. And he's rooting for in the final rounds to boot.

These names were already suggested in chat but I'll post them here again:

MatrimKK from , because he was our opponent several times and was always fair play, win or lose.

Shaliyah from , because she was a very pleasant opponent to me and bripod, and she handled the match where we both desynched and won on our respective sides in a very carefree way.

Even though it was another loss for me, I've enjoyed a lot playing against MatrimKK. I approve that choice.

I will put in my two cents on this.

My two most pleasant experiences were against Jappert and Annamall.  Both of them made the matches very enjoyable whether I was losing or winning.  I would look forward to playing against either of the two of them again.

Also, NikaZaslavsky was very understanding and gracious despite my bumbling while trying to hurry through our match.

I don't even know who shaliyah or thedictator are, but I'm happy if the team picks any of those people for sportsmanship, and I'll assume those two also deserve a vote.
