Member Roles

The following post serves two purposes.

1. It shows everyone their member role in the team.
2. It shows the Warmasters the preferred order in which the team fights if they don't have enough cards for everyone to fight.

Teams are allowed to change the order at any time by modifying this post.

1.   General - 10 men
General is the leader of the team who makes sure that other team members are doing their jobs and fighting their battles.  General also communicates with Warmasters.  Generals can use up to 9 upgraded cards during duels.

2.   Lieutenant - dragonsdemesne
Lieutenant is second in command.  The General may not assign this role to himself.  If one team member is unable to perform his or her duties, the Lieutenant is responsible for performing the job of that team member.  Lieutenants can use up to 6 upgraded cards during duels.

5.   Strategist - valuka
Strategist makes sure that the team Vault is up-to-date at all times by building the initial vault, noting which decks the team uses each round, and listing cards salvaged and discarded, all at the team’s direction.  Because decks used, salvaged cards, and discards are all submitted using Google Docs (a new process to War 4), a War-experienced strategist proficient in Google Docs may be valuable to a team’s success.  The Strategist can use up to 3 upgraded cards during duels.

6.   Duel Organizer - bripod
Duel Organizer is in charge of all team duels happening during a round.  If one or more team members are unable to fight their duels, Duel Organizer must inform the General as soon as possible and try to find a replacement.  Duel Organizer should also be aware of team absences.  The Duel Organizer can use up to 3 upgraded cards during duels.

Soldiers fill any duty that may be required of them.  Soldiers can use up to 3 upgraded cards during duels.

Quick comment on the Team order:
General and Lieutenant are obviously 1 and 2 because of the extra upgrades.
Otherwise the order is random. I will modify it in later rounds so that every player gets roughly the same amount of games, should we lose a player.

Do generals typically duel other generals, and lieutenants other lieutenants, or is it random who we are paired against?

Actually, i'm quite relieved of being out... i'm in the middle of a project (at university) and i really had trouble following the war.
You can keep me in position 8 for another week without problems for me, unless some other player really needs to be replaced!
I will follow you guys, whenever i can!

Just to let everyone know, I'll have a business trip next week to Mexico, so I'll be away for one week, from Sunday 11/27 to Monday 12/05. Because I'm only leaving Sunday, I can participate and play normally for Round 7, but since I'll have limited time and Internet access while away, I won't be able to play or help much on Round 8, so I'd ask to leave me in the bottom spots for that round. I'll be ready to play and help again as soon as I return.

Since bripod, TheManuz and ffun all said they would be a little busy this round, I switched the order around a little bit. Apologies to valuka, who was left out randomly. However, not playing a match this round does not mean that you can't play as we might take tactical subs if we play against a deck with bad salvage. Just hang out in chat, especially during times when matches are announced and you might still get a piece of the action. Also you're obviously welcome to help strategizing and cheering from sidelines even if you don't have a match yourself!
