UTAlan 2 - 0 kevkev60614

Game 1 deck:

Epic game. He got two Phoenixes and a Lycan out, I had a few voodoos. Accels seemed like they never wanted to come, but I did get one just in time. When he was one turn from finishing me, I GP'd my own Voodoo, giving me another few turns (Stiletto's heals bought me an extra round, too). I GP'd a brand new voodoo, but he GP'd one with less health. I top-decked another Accel and that gave me just enough damage needed to get the win, with only 13hp left.

Pretty close to an ideal hand and draw for devtal. He got an Armagio out, but I got turn 5 lockdown. Game over.

Great games, kev. Thanks for the match!

G1: Good deck choice by UTA here, as dolls made the cc at my disposal nearly irrelevant and for some reason I didn't even consider him taking adrenadolls.  My deck build was slow on damage and didn't have enough other cards to really be any good.

Perfect deck choice by UTA.  I waved the white flag about turn four.

YoungSot 2 - 0 Odii Odsen
GGs Odii. That second game in particular was rather draw-dependent, and the draws favored me this time.

In testing this deck worked best against Discord EQ grabbows, which is what I was expecting and thankfully what Odii brought. I drew ALL the BBs! *raises fist*, and was worried I'd be too slow, but I managed to draw damage each turn, and the match went perfectly.

Since I won the last battle, I thought perhaps Odii might try a stall or entropy/dark duo, so I switched to a Discord/EQ grabbow of my own. His deck wasn't what I was expecting, but a poor draw on his side + early discord on mine slowed him down. My EQs were fairly useless and he kept BBing my grabbies, but thankfully I had brought poison, and that plus the discord wore him down before he could get a sufficient offense on his side.

GGs again Odii. Now it's time to break out the popcorn and relax while we cheer on our teammates.

A simple stall deck. There was a bit of :air quanta shortage at the beginning, but once I started chaining Wings I was unstoppable. He tried playing some Unstable Gases to kill me through Wings, but I lazily played a few Stone Skins. He had no hope.

This was supposed to counter Scrambling Shriekers. I waited too long to chain Wings, and he caught me completely off-guard with Pulvy. From there he proceeded to brutally dominate me.

Considering how many Novas he played in the other decks, I was a bit worried about this one. As it turned out, Devourers were the key to my victory; I baited his Pulverizers with a couple of permanents, then my Devourers proceeded to drain all his :gravity quanta. From there I simply kept a Fog Shield up and slowly but surely destroyed him. It was quite a close game.

Great games, Matrim. And well done to the Wild Mongrels for making such good decks. :)

Slow hand gave him time to SS out of UG range, great counter to what I could have brought all around.

Late pulvies made me worry but they came a few turns after wings started to drop.

I was really afraid of devs and EQ this was worse with fog hax and vamp daggers.  Devs pretty much left all my earth alone and his early 3 devs ate through my nova quanta and straight into my gravity making pulvy useless.

Great games Xenoc and well played, very nice deck builds by Acsabi44!  Sorry I was out for the beginning of the round mate, your decks really shined :D
