Managed to win here vs. his devtal, though Dusk Shield hax almost gave him the win, and made me opt to Silence chain instead of using Fractal to go for a kill, which ended up working.

I switched to what it actually a very different deck from the previous round, despite appearances, and was glad to see a
/
stall deck, since I knew I could overpower it with sheer numbers pretty easily, barring bad luck on my part. To my horror my starting hand was 3x unupped Gnomes, upped Gnome, Golem, Fractal, and SS. Fortunately, not only did he have a similarly despair-inducing draw with only a single pillar, but I also managed to draw out of the screw quickly, getting quanta sources in my first couple draw, and he couldn't match a field full of Golems despite his ice shield performing well above 50%.

I was rather saddened to see my opening draw of 6 quanta sources and a Silence, but knew I could still win easily if I managed to draw a Golem and Fractal. After not too long, I got one of my 2 Fractals, but ironically, could not get any of my 6 Golems for the entirety of the match >.> It took him a while to win through my EQs and Lightnings, but win he did.

I took a gamble here and hoped he wouldn't go for Devtal, though this deck can beat a slower draw (Or one that uses drags to win, like his last one). I had a subpar draw but fortunately managed to draw more quanta sources as the game went on. His surprise MitoSquids forced me to blow my UGs earlier than I'd hoped, but it was more than worth it. Mitosis, to me, implied that he would use some type of dragon for his win-condition, and therefore I callously sent out a Drag+Rage Pot after blowing up his field, only to be met by an Ice Bolt, much to my chagrin. I still managed to win, though, as my deck was a very solid counter to his.
