Yes, it's 'cause people play Plat a lot more. That drops the base reward of a League.

The reason they play Plat more is a combination of three things: only 2 wins are now needed in Plat to get the bonus spin, new Purify gives you a better chance to win and AI is now restricted to using 6 SoSa's per game.

The first comment confused me SO much. Not stereotyping, but I saw his country of origin, and I assume that he doesn't have the best English abilities. So, that being said, if he/she was asking whether it mattered or not, it does matter. BECAUSE I WANT MONEY.
