Involuntary level-up?

My player arena level went up to level 40 but my deck is still at level 39.  But in the arena it says my league is Gold.  This bothers me because I wanted to get a high rank in silver instead of being at the bottom of Gold.  (Deck record is currently 45/8 which I think is pretty good for silver).

Is my deck really in Gold or is it still in Silver?

I was wondering the same thing : I'm lvl 59, near 60 and platinium league. What happen if i level-up ? My deck stays in Gold until i change it ? Is it automatically transfered to Platinium ?

Your deck goes to Platinum if you level up.

I can personally tell you that if you are on the boundary of two leagues (I was LVL60 until recently, LVL61 now, and I would be happier if I were LVL59) then you wanna stay in the lower league unless it is Bronze.

IMO the game has to limit the usable skills in different leagues:

bronze: Only HP increase is available
silver: HP and upped cards
gold: mark multiplier too
platinum: all skills, including 2x deck

that would encourage players to change leagues.

I agree, I think i will stay lvl 59 for now. My deck is doing fine in Gold (rank 14 at the moment), but i believe it would not do that well in platinium. There is no incentive to go to the upper league, or maybe i'm missing something ?

I had the same thing.  I was level 58 when arena came in, and I'm 61 now.  The difference is I figured platinum was a better place to be, because I'm assuming 1) people will play it more because it's worth more (well, usually, gold was higher for the last two days but platinum passed it now) 2) you get more electrum per win in platinum league and 3) it's easier to be in the top 500 of platinum because less people are in that range

How unreasonable would it be for someone to be able to control which league their deck plays in? How cool will it be if I had say x2 mark, double draw, and some HP bonus; it's less than 40 SP and would have just as many benefits as any other silver league deck.

Short-and-long of it, I wish our decks were ranked by the # of SP used as apposed to our actual level.
