Spoiler for Hidden:
Not down yet, but on the way down. Rank 1 Mono Water ( ) in Platinum. Might have something to do with how it absolutely dominates SoSa, Instosis, and Shard of Focus all at the same time.

Via the official Mono-Element definition.
Mono-deck definition
Spoiler for Hidden:
The forum definition of mono-decks changed at one point in history and this seems to be a source of confusion. The current definition is "Cards from only one element and "Other". Mark is irrelevant.
The definition is not
- decks that use only one type of quanta
- decks that use only cards that match the mark, where no "other" cards are allowed.
- decks that use one air card and 59 aether cards
Animate Weapon is an Air card, Nova is an Entropy card, Photon is a Light card, and Spark is an Aether card. If you have a mono-fire deck that uses any of these, it's not a mono-fire deck. Please put your thread in the
Duo- decks forum.

It's a mono-air deck because it only uses air cards and "other" cards. Mark is irrelevant.

An earth mark, an "other" card, and 25 fire cards would make this a mono-fire deck if it weren't for the four aether cards. Despite them having zero cost and serving no real purpose other than Cremation fodder, the presence of the Ball Lightnings makes this a duo.
I personally would call this deck more of a
/
Duo deck, which is a lot less facetious I agree, but that isn't a definition that is widely accepted. Although this is more or less a mono deck anyway, it's just that Water has high enough rainbow synergy to actually make this work. (Edit: ... actually, no.
/
Duo deck is a definition I reserve for when a deck uses all kinds of other cards and would technically be called a rainbow, but centralizes around one element. This is just a mono-element deck that uses enough off-element quanta of different shades that it is all-around more efficient to simply go rainbow.)

And it's certainly nice to see my deck gaining popularity and sway as well as being credited, although I'm getting worried at the implications of this being the new "Hair-Pulling" deck in Platinum. Granted I'm not so worried since I'm keeping track of winnings this time, and it has a 50% approval rate.
Speaking of, side note while I'm here, Tides of War is up again, been up for almost 3 days, Rank 7, and 13/26 Thumbs up. So expect an encore showing.
Part of the purpose is to test for if the Shard of Focus nerf affects the deck, and as I have predicted, the 1.31 patch nerf actually seems to be a
buff rather than a nerf, at least in this Plat deck.
