Nerf Consecutive Win Spin Requirements?

This is a bad idea. It is ridicoulusly easy for a new player with a little bit of basic understanding of this game to farm bronze for spins without needing any upgrades, rares or advice from the forum.

I have to disagree with you... most players currently playing that either dont know this forum exists or simply ignore it, dont have the appropriate deckbuilding skill or cards required to even farm bronze decently. Some like myself already have played similar card games like MtG wich helps tremendously in this game but thats not the general case. If you think i'm wrong try spending a couple of hours on pvp1 or pvp2 and a good amount decks will have way more than 30 cards, 5 or 6 different pillars, no good strategy or build, etc...

Mh, I don't really see where you disagree with me though. I said "A new player with a little bit of basic understanding of this game [can farm bronze easily]" - you said that most players don't have that understanding. I don't see a contradiction. You might be right, many new players don't know how to build decent decks at all - but what is the conclusion? Give all the rares to players who can't play at all? Why? If someone really is not good enough of a deckbuilder to farm bronze, why reward him? He should farm AI3 and play PvP1 a few days or maybe up to two weeks to gain said "understanding" of the game. Of course you have to work for rares, that's where the name comes from.

Newbie players can't farm bronze as easily as you seem to think, and one less spin isnt going to make that big of a difference. Im hardly a newbie, am always looking on here for decks, and I cant farm bronze easily. Skill will vary by person, and I dont think an unskilled newbie will suddenly be reeling in the rares because he needs one less win in the arena.

As you can read here, all arena levels will soon need one consecutive victory less.
You can even try that and some other new changes in beta.

That would surprise me. I recently introduced a friend to elements. He did play MtG some time, so he's no real newb, but he managed to farm bronze on his very first day without me giving any tips. (because that spoils the fun imo) Obviously, someone who didn't play MtG or something similiar needs more than a day... But not more than two weeks. And I really don't think 2 weeks is too much.

Ive played MtG. I've been playing elements on and off for 2 years. Cant grind bronze

What i said in other words is that we have a big percentage of players that dont have the knowledge or innitiative to build or find viable decks, hence the reason why so many think that 6 consecutive wins ( 5 after 1.30 gets out) can seem so difficult at times. You also have to consider the fact that most dont even want to grind all day long to earn some coin or even do some research to learn something... i'm not even saying i disagree with you, i'm just showing you another perspective on this subject

EDIT: showing that your friend started grinding bronze in a day doesnt prove the whole community of players can do the same, it doesnt follow a logical path

I was happy to see the requirements drop...now I have a chance to get upped cards from plat!!

and bronze doesn't seem quite as annoying though now shards are showing up even in bronze!!!

shards were always available on special spins in bronze
