Favorite soccer(football) player?

well, you see, mine is complicated. I love football and i support EPL especially Manchester United. Typically, i would hate Liverpool players and Barcelona's. However, S. Gerald is one of my fav. Van persie, Rooney, De Gea, C.Ronaldo and F. Lampard . These few are my favourites. To me, they are fantastic players, each contributing to their respective teams, work hard to get a goal.

I don´t have a real favorite player. I used to admire Diegos skills when he was with my favorite team but that´s about it. I am pretty much bound to earth when it comes to football (what is this soccer you mentioned?  ). 30 years as fan of a club that is known for solid work, mostly finishing in the middle of the table I despise (strong word but I absolutely mean it!) clubs that are fueled by russian oil-lords (in my mind they are all corrupt and belong in prison instead of a yacht), sheiks or big corporations.

I know most will disagree but from an overall standpoint I think the leagues are like this: Spain>England=Germany. Most players still prefer EPL, but the league here is more solid regarding fanbase and most important (to me) the financial management. When it comes to EPL I like Arsenal, but can´t put a finger on the reason for it.

Summary: It is a team sport for me so I care more about teams over single players.

My favourite player is the one that looks like a horse and my favourite club is the one with the fancy green-white colour.
