Yay again. Yay for spontaneous ideas at night! Something told me that this deck was able to counter many of Fire's decks with some luck. However, I had to take the build from last round because I had missed to put more work into it and deadline was approaching. It wasn't bad, though 8) And thanks, Jaymanfu,
for teaching me how to play Bone Walls.
Game 1:
Win. Got a solid starting hand and won the coin toss, which proved to be essential at the end. Strategy was to feed the Bone Wall with CCed scorpions but the first thing I do is put out one before the shield. It got clear pretty quickly that mrpaper was using the same deck as
in his match versus Belligerence so I knew exactly what to expect. However, he let my second scorpion live, reached 75 quanta 2 turns before he was about to lose (14 poison counters in the end) but didn't get the 3rd bolt into his hand. 33 HP was enough to survive.
Game 2:
Win. Slightly modified strategies on both sides, coin's luck was on my side again. I held back my first scorpion (out of three) to get 2 additional shields, he decided to kill every scorpion when he had to face two at once. I intentionally let some Phoenix damage get through to safely get back to 99 HP, then I hoped for the best. At the end, 14 poison counters and 75 fire quanta again; the last bone was about to break and I was praying not to get bolted + phoenixed down. Suddenly, that Heal topdecked.
Thanks for your patience, mrpaper, while I ran wild looking for a suitable deck, thanks Belligerence for your awesome assistance with that. Welcome back, dear relic.
