I got very luck in these matches.  I had 3 nova and an elite graboid in my starting hand each game along with other goodies, so I took off quick and his fire stall was not able to catch up.  The first game I had a first turn arsenic along with a graboid and a fire spirit.  He destroyed my critters as I played them and hit me with farenheight, but the arsenic took a heavy toll and I won on poison damage.  The second game I did not have the arsenic, but played out the same with him killing my critters and hurting me with farenheight.  It was much closer but thanks to my good start, I pulled it off.  Screenshots are at the bottom

2 well played matches Slim8stack.  If I'd had a bad start, you would have completely roasted me.

first game got rushed hard and was Jmdt's all the way, 2nd was closer and could have won if I fire bolted last draw but no fire bolts

I had hopes with that deck, I spent a good chunk of time building & testing this. The problem with playing fire is their vault is so huge to predict but i was expecting at least one of them to play a stall deck. GG

Well, its not like we knew our opponents before determining our decks. Decks we made were sealed the moment we made them, and that was before deckbuilding phase because we had such a vault to only allow 8 predetermined decks. Basicly, we had to build decks before we knew our matches because we had to declare our vault earlier.

People were saying predicting UW would be hard, but its a two way thing. What UW had was our opponents would have at least 50% of their element but we didn't have chance to build counter decks. What others had was a chance to build decks knowing they are facing UW. So it doesn't that much matter if you expected what we would expect, as we had to go with predetermined decks. 240 card vault meant "blindly build 8 decks and wait till duel phase" All we could do was assigning these premade decks. Other option could only be making 8 rainbow decks so that we could toss a few amount of cards between decks after knowing our opponents. But i have high doubts about 8 rainbow decks, when we could make mono / duo / trio decks.

Since you beat us, i now hope that team fire wins WAR.
