Ok, so originally the match was set for February 27th 10PM GMT... until I realized I was still missing 3 ups. Great. Here I was prancing around thinking I'd have enough ups for anything thrown my way. Lawlz.
Acsabi was such a great sport he waited for me to farm 4500
in order to upgrade the cards I was missing, and it was a good thing I lost none of those AI3 matches. So up my
went, from about 500
to 4500
in about 1.5 hours. A good run, for AI3 anyway.
Alas, our matches began.
Round 1:Though I was completely expecting something else, I saw Fire Mark and immediately though to myself: Rush. Pray for a Miracle. And indeed they came through.
Round 2:Essentially a replay of Round 1, my Angels against his Phoenixes, trying to outrun each other's offensive power, but in the end, once I had a decent and solid offense out, the Miracles would seal the deal.
Round 3:Got a good quanta start sending out 1 of my Nymphs and preparing for the slew of MPs headed my way. With him bolting her out of the way, my 10HP for 4
per turn was gone, and I was left scrambling with my offense reduced to just a Morningstar. I knew I was done for once I saw his attack power just growing and I was struggling just to save up for Miracle. Oh! And I saw Novas for the first time, much to my surprise.
Round 4:Got a good quanta start and whipped out Angels alongside Dragons for the first time! I knew Dragons would pose quite a thread especially considering how bulky they were. After that I simply started to save up quanta and send out my Angels as they came my way.
Good games Acsabi, and thank you for being a good sport. +rep
