Wow, I missed a bunch of action while at the football game today.
This is quite franky a sad turn of events, regardless of the teams involved. Since I'm the only one that has full knowlege of all the events beforehand, I'll add some commentary here regardless the consequences.
Kev and Nilsie have very different time zones to deal with. Kev gave every time he was available to Nilsie and said after that he was leaving on vacation and could not play. After delibaration they found the only time they could both play was at the Eastern tournament time. Kev was there a good 15 minutes before the the start of the eastern tournament looking for eastern tourney members. Kev went back and forth between the rooms for almost an hour an a half, before he had to finally leave to prepare for his flight. Nilsie didn't come on chat until an hour after Kev left, 2 hours after the time they both scheduled a match. I know Nilsie knew the correct time for the match, I personally confirmed the match time with RR.
The fact that Nilsie skipped the match knowing Kev couldn't play after and then played off like he was waiting for fire the whole time does not sit well with me. If Nilsie was really worried about the match, he should have mentioned it while 3 separate
members were in chat last night when he arrived. I hold no ill will toward Nilsie or
, but when a specific time is agreed to between 2 generals, with the knowlege that there is no other available time to play and one team does not honor this time, I don't see how some penalty can not apply here. If kev were the one to bail on the match, then I could understand the current consequences, but
was penalized for following the rules.
kev will be most disturbed when he sees these results.
