Game 1: I had a great quanta start, got a Pulvy out relatively early as well as a Grabby or two. He had a somewhat slow start, although he seemed to draw into his quanta so it didn't hurt so much. I was able to lightning a Graboid of his after he evolved it, and he returned the favor to me. I was able to evolve my other two Grabbies and keep them both alive (not enough quanta for a Lightning) and then burrow them both in order to get a little more damage on him, knowing that he likely had some PUs lurking. We desynced on the last turn, but there was quite literally nothing he could do to prevent me from winning this game, so he conceded to me. 1-0
Game 2: 1 pillar start for me, never saw anything soon enough to make a difference. My Pulvy got two hits in, but that was about all the excitement that this game held. 1-1
Game 3: Very good quanta start for me, with a mix of rainbow and Stone Pillars/Towers. To be honest, I don't remember a ton about this game, but I do remember that it was a back and forth game and my Fog Shield and BBs did more than a little to stave off his army. Also, there came a point where he PU-spammed for his Grabbies and I took action, Lightning-ing one of them, playing a Fog Shield, and BB-ing two others, but I forgot to evolve my Graboid (he was low on
quanta) and as tense as this game was, I was all but certain it could come back to bite me. Turns out that it didn't, as my Fog did enough to buy me the one extra turn I needed. 2-1
Game 4: Two Stone Pillars and a Stone Tower start for me, so I was able to play my Pulvy second turn and my unevolved Grabbies soon after. I chipped slowly away at his HP, while he evolved a Grabby and PU'd it. I got my defenses out in the form of BB, and we just kind of stared at each other for a bit. I smashed some stuff with Pulvy (Arsenic, a Pillar or two), but I just kept waiting for the chance to OTK him. Finally got it and I evolved my Grabbies, gave him some Nightmares, and smashed his Dimensional Shield to bring home the match. 3-1
Looking at your deck now, mark, I'm even more impressed with your play than I already was. You played the hell out of your deck and should hold your head high. Team Aether has a very good duelist in you.
This is my Pulvy....
