Game 1: Loss. jippy was a bit faster than me.  Plus he drew 2 phoenixes which sailed past my wings.  There was an early desync but I lost vs. AI (AI put out a mummy and a nymph and I didn't have any more wings) and he won vs. AI.

Game 2: Win. Steady damage from 2 titans matched his damage from phoenixes.  I drew all my catapults and finished off the match by throwing a titan.

Game 3: Loss.  Deflag.  I put up wings to block his early arsenic and mummies, but they were taken down by deflag pretty easily.  One of my titans was destroyed too.

Game 4: Win.  Close game.  Our damage was pretty evenly matched again.  I had enough wings to hold off his mummies too, although they were deflagged once or twice, which resulted in some good chunks of my hp being taken away.  I had enough damage from my titans to finish the game off though.

Game 5: Win.  EXTREMELY close game.  He started out with lots of pillars/pends and then seemed to draw nonstop creatures.  2 mummies + phoenix + arsenic VERY early on.  I put up wings but they were deflagged.  Luckily, I had two more in my hand.  Still, his damage slightly outdid my 14 damage per turn from 2 titans.  In the end, I top-decked a catapult, and was able to use it the next turn (the turn before I was going to lose) without it getting deflagged to narrowly get the win.

Excellent matches jippy.  I'm glad I got the chance to play against you.
Each game was extremely close, as the winner usually had around 20 hp or less at the end of every game.

Game 1: My phoenixes attacked through his wings and I deflagged a titan.  Desync happened, but I won on both sides. 1-0
Game 2: My phoenixes matched his titans for awhile, and then he got a cata. 1-1
Game 3: Deflags were my friends here.  Deflagged a shield and a titan to help my creatures and arsenic power through. 2-1
Game 4: Very very close here.  Early creatures for me, plus a deflagged wings.  I was ahead in damage until he got another wings, titan, and a cata.  He won by  1 or 2 turns turn. 2-2
Game: Very, very, very close.  I started with a bunch of quanta and I kept drawing creatures.  I was able to draw a deflag and use it on one of his wings, which allowed me to get his health down to about 50 with a phoenix and some poison attacking through the wings.  He had some titans out, and it was just a race against topdecking.  In the end, I couldn't draw a phoenix or deflag in the turn he drew the cata. 2-3

Really tough loss for us here, you played this very well regen.  I had a lot of fun playing against you, I hope we play again sometime in the future.

I would say we had a decent advantage in this match and didn't really have the better luck here. You had 6 death cards (3 pots, 3 BWs) and 1 inefficient card (Nymph.) If you deflaged Cats, then Wings would stall you enough for Titans to outspeed you (6 Titans > 3 Phoenixes.) But if you deflaged Wings, Titans would rush you and win. Air has won games it shouldn't have really won (Last round vs Darkness,) but I don't feel that this was one of them.

Catatitans can beat the speed of death's deck, and wings just secured everything.

With jipp winning 2 games, and the others being extremely close, I wouldn't say you had decent advantage. You may had some, but luck was definitely a more important factor here.

I would argue that luck actually worked against me in terms of catapults.  With the exception of game 2, I really wasn't drawing any!  The top deck in game five isn't really that lucky when compared with the entirety of the 5 game series.  Lucky would have been always being able to play a cata and avoid deflags (keep in mind that each game was won by a 20-25 point or less margin).  Yes, I agree that game five was a lucky game in terms of wings and the top deck cata, but I definitely don't think that it was a lucky/rng based series on the whole.

Plain and simple, these were good, close games that were very well played on death's side as well.
