I expected Frogtal anyway so when I saw mark, I thought that's what's going to come.

Thought it might be a good idea to save my Bolts for his HP, it wasn't.

1-2, 2-2, 3-2
Adjusted the strategy and kept all Bolts for his Dragons, Fahren and Phoenixes did the rest, an awful draw for Marsu in match 5 helped me quite a lot.

How do you think it would turn out if you upped dragons instead of pendulums ?

Not good. Higher cost plus less quantum due to unupped pends means my first Dragon often comes 2 (Because of Pends & Aether mark) turns later, the 2 "free" damage/PU plus higher HP aren't worth that.
Basically, if he doesn't have Fahrenheit in his first 10 cards and we both have a draw that's even close to representative I can't lose, I think. Would have liked that to happen more than once. :p
Well, at least there are worth opponents to lose to than itr.
