We had no desyncs, both games ran smoothly.

Game 1: On my first turn, I play a phoenix and a fire shield, followed by the Arsenic.
SV plays an Adrenalined Maxwelldemon, but it misses a lot due to hax shield and I can play another Phoenix so I have one alive at all times. That wins me the match. 1-0

Game2: I didin't have the shield in my opening hand but I drew and played it a few turns later. I managed to stick two Phoenixes, SV plays the same Adrenalined MaxwellDemon, followed by two Fallen Druids. They eventually manage to turn my Phoenixes into Abomination but in the mean time I drew and cast a third one, finishing the game. 2-0

He played a discord in both games but I managed to deflag them.

Well, the story behind this deck is pretty much that our team spent 8-10 hours building and testing all our decks, and this one was saved for last. As team deckbuilder I have a tendency to worry about mine last ...

This time I was so tired that I went to sleep but put this deck up at the last minute. The intention was to wake up 45 minutes before the end of the phase so I could have feedback from the team and fix up the deck (some defense would be nice). Unfortunately both me and Zeru (our master) set our alarms 1 hour late because of the time zone change and this deck became finalized! No one else on the team can edit the decks thread. Oh brother.

In general, we are aware that Fire has both Fire-Bolt strategy and Immo-Rush strategy. This deck is actually very good against a phoenix rush so I was happy when we just started. Both games I only managed to get few adrenalines (2 first game 1 second game) but the real issue was the Fog Shield. In the first game Acsabi ended with about 32 health; the shield had already saved him from close to that in damage (I don't honestly know the exact number).

Also, the arsenic was a clever touch. Which he had in the first 2 rounds both games. How annoying. A well designed deck.

In conclusion I think these two decks are about 50-50 in who wins. I guess it would be silly for Entropy to complain about bad luck though, right? We are all about luck.

Games summary:

1) First turn Fog Shield more or less sealed the deal. My draw was all right, with a rather fast Adren Demon, but it made little difference since as we all know Haxx Shield is Haxx. I couldn't outrush his phoenixes.

2) A worse draw for me, but I got some Elves out. With a little luck they would have killed his ashes instead of turning them into Abominations, but meh. Again the Fog Shield came up on the third turn and I couldn't outrush his damage.

Note: I did not draw my Purple Nymph, but if I had it in starting hand he would have a very hard time winning. Oh well.
