I just wanted to add that credit for the deck goes to Dragonsdemesne, who built this deck initially, and to 10 men, who had the idea to add the Nymph.

Good deck from , you were very prepared it would seem.

Yeah, we were expecting either bonebolt or devtal, based on the war archives, and in testing this deck beat both, while still managing to not suck against other options.  I just wish I'd put as much thought into the earth matchup as I did into this one.  The earth matchup did not go as well :p

On another note, I wasn't spectating this matchup, but I am very glad to see that both teams were good sports about the desynch thing.  I hope that this sets the tone for the rest of War.

The funniest story about this match was that game three desynced and both players lost to the AI on their side (expert players).

That was the same time hilarious and a showing of great sportsmanship from both players, props to both of you!

I was thinking the same thing, I have never heard of both players losing to the AI before lol.

Yeah inthisroom had that game under control but his creatures were all buried way down in his deck. So he had to use the Gold Nymph ability aggressively to find them and got close to decking out in the process. Probably Shaliyah's AI found a life saving Bone Wall after the desync while she didn't draw it on her side.

I assume you play 4 games sice the score says 3-1, but you mention replaying game 3 and nothing after that.
Looks like I was right expecting time to build a deck for what has killed em in the previous war... I so would have wished to be wrong!

I thought I had it rounded up in the match resume, sorry.

After 1-0,  equalised, so it went 1-1, the match that would have been 2-1 for one or another desynched, so we played that one again, which was won by  , as was the fourth, deciding one. So four games were effectively counted but due to desynch in match #3, "almost" five were played.
