Card to deal with the bandits:
Name: Shadow Army
Element: _darkness
Cost: 1
Type: Spell
Text: Gain a "shadow"-copy of each creature the opponent controls. As en extra cost when playing this card, pay :darkness quanta equal to half the cost of each shadow created. Shadow dissapears at the end of turn.
Notes: "Shadow"-copies are identical to the original card, so it creates a new card, like fractal, not a a full copy like Parallell Universe. This means that any buffs that the opponent's creatures had are not reflected on the shadows.  Shadows are alway :darkness, regardless of the original creature's element. If you run out of :darkness quanta, no more shadow are created.

I use this to get 2 shadows of the bandits, which then fight the original bandits. It costs me 5 :darkness quanta.

The port city is a bustling metropolis of adventure, characterized by all sorts of honorable and shady figures rushing through the roads. With luck, you've managed to arrive without any trouble.

You observe your surroundings - to the east is the Adventurer's Guild, where one may find quests and possibly other companions. To the south is the The Port, where a traveler can buy safe passage aboard a ship (or occasionally something more bizarre.). To the west is the Bazaar, which buys and sells all sorts of equipment and goods, with a blusterous Tavern nearby. To the north is the elaborate Church of Lumia, a sanctum for those of the faith.

Elements:darkness :fire  (GM, feel free to modify this, as appropriate.  I'm looking for 1 or 2 elements best associated with orcs.)
Background:  A female half-orc sorceress.  Her father abandoned her mother before Boka'a was born, and the human villagers were uncomfortable with her orcish features.  The mother was unwilling to leave the village, so the villagers attacked their hut one night.  They killed the mother, but Boka'a escaped.  She wandered alone from age 8 until age 11, when an orcish sorcerer took her in and made her his apprentice.  The "street smarts" she gained from three years of wandering gave her the ability to wield small blades with remarkable skill.
Skills:
- Combat: Ability to rain down <something> on enemies.
- Non-combat:  Ability to detect when people are lying (gained from wandering time) (possibly subject to percentage chance).

FINAL EDIT: My conscience will not allow me to run away, and I'm just not creative enough to come up with a way to kill the Muggers that's balanced for a Level 1 sorceress.  Leaving the Muggers alive does no good, because they can move much faster than the caravan they're mugging.

Regretfully, I have decided to withdraw from the game.  I've never been that good at card design, and it's probably best that I not take on another commitment with no set time limit, anyway.  At least I'm withdrawing during the first round and before my character has interacted with any other player characters.

Apologies to Zblader for wasting your time on creating a character card.  This looks like a really cool game.  I hope everyone else have fun.
