Deck Helper comment:
This deck was posted before the 1.32 game update and as a result may work very differently now.  Use at your own risk.

With 1.27 there are new options for this deck, so I thought I might play around with this old deck of mine.
I still love it - the win rate is very high - I'd still claim it is well above 50% even though I do not have the time and energy to collect a lot of stats.
Especially sanctuary is quite an improvement for this deck. Game length for me is between 4 mins and 10. And its very interesting to play.
so - long story short - the 1.27 version - have fun:

the old deck and the old stats:

I have been playing around with poison quite a bit and mostly I lost a lot against FG. I can not say how much my stats say because I did not play more than 4 times against each FG - but it is a tendency.
I have a win-rate of 55%. I did not check for all the games but the average for those I checked the time was about 4Min/game. The loosing games are quicker than the winning games though.

I play mostly against FG so I like to have my decks in a way that makes them fun to play. Just fast farming does not make sense for me - because what am I farming for? But its fun to win  - so even though this deck may not be as quick as some - it is definitely fun to play and quite effective.

Strategy is simple - defend yourself till you get a dune scorpion with momentum out. one small pinch then sit back and relax (or struggle to survive  :) ).

The deck is big - but I like it to be interesting - not doing the same things over and over. With the hourglasses there is a lot happening

My stats so far - Win/Loose ratio (4/1 = 4 wins 1 lost = 4/5 of all games won):
Neptun       4/0
Miracle        4/1 careful not to draw too many cards - but I managed to survive 5 miracles and still kill him with the sixth round - destroy the white pillars
Octane        3/3
Gemini        4/0
incarnate    2/0 - easy
osiris          4/1 ...go eat the scorpions - i do not care - (can be too fast though)
hermes       0/2
fireflyqueen 3/1 fun and challenging but manageable - save the firestorms till she has 50+ poison if you can
chaos lord   4/2
destiny       5/0
divine g      3/5
oblitorator  2/2 challenging but fun - a protected pulvi early in the game is hard to deal with
seism         2/5 without towers it is hard to get a proper defense ...
decay          1/2   - fast poisoning is good - do not let him get you down to much - he can drain a lot
paradox      4/0 - okay - just keep in mind the PU that might be coming...
rainbow      2/2 i just hate him - just won once and I think that was lucky... but I survived 4 Miracles...
dark matter - i quit that guy mostly - just too annoying
dream catcher  1/3 - the butterflies are really hard to deal with -
ferox            5/8
eternal phoenix 2/5  hard because so fast
Elidnis          0/3
Graviton      2/3
Morte           3/0
Scorpio         0/1

i'd like to see variations and hear how they worked - have fun

so why is this so very not interesting?  :'(
55% win rate to bad or 4 min/game to slow?
First FG-Killer I made up and felt was good enough to post here - hoped at least for remarks like - "booo - way to big" or "fun to play but to slow..."  ;)
come on - someone appreciate I am sharing this and make me feel the time to make the stats and post it was well invested...  ;D

i will try out your deck mostly because i like phat a-- deck but also because i rather have interesting match than complete zombiesque grinding/farming

comments later

one thing calls out to me right from the start...whats up with that jade staff?
at first glance i thought it was a jade shield (a considerably better option)
i am tweaking this deck to suit my play style better

heres what i'm working with so far :-

Code: [Select]
5rp 5rp 5rp 5rp 5rp 5rt 5rt 5rt 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6rn 6rn 6rn 6rn 6rn 6u7 74a 74a 74a 77f 77i 7aj 7do 7gp 7gp 7gq 7k2 7n0 7q5 7q5 7q5 7q5 7q5 7q8 7t9 7t9purify might be replaced by an aflatoxin
might include mirror shield for decay/octane

I remember seeing this back then, but the huge size of the deck made me not wanting to test it back then. And then this came out 2 days later:
Legit 30 card FG Deck with Brimstone Eater aka Mind Riot by BatCountry (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,15966.0.html)
and unfortunately for you, that deck got the attention instead of your deck. Better luck next time.

In order to get more attention:
1) Try to streamline your deck more, meaning try to keep it under 40 cards.
2)If you make stats, try to present them in more organized form, like this:
Easy FGs: Neptune ##, Gemini ##, Incarnate## ...
Medium difficult FGs: ...
Impossible FGs: ...
Then you could also add complete stats: total wins / lost, and the average of the win% of each FG.

Lol siks. That's a good one. But I see what you mean:
In Elements (as anywhere else), products mostly don't seem to be judged by what they are
but by where they come from ... a renowned player could post any given standard crap he
wants and he will sure run in those 2000+ hits and some 10 pages of posts somehow as long
as the shiny brand-name is clearly visible in the thread title.
Other than that, fat-decks are totally not "en vogue" and sort of scream "newb" when there
are unupped cards in the deck, even if this is for a good reason ... don't know why really.

But anyways, I have a question here: 4min per game? Really?

4min/game on average - for the games i wrote down the time. Since there are also lost games in there its probably 5-6 Mins/Average for wins and 2-3 Mins for losses.
Those FG that can regain lifepoints are slower while Neptun, Morte, incarnate, Osiris etc I somtimes managed to beat in 3 Mins.

now that I can see the time after every game I win I am sure that 5-6min average for wins is about right - for the 1.27 version - see above

That's a lot faster than the deck looks.

HERE (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,21654.0.html) is an awesome tool to convert that game-time you see after each match into pro-style deck-stats.  ;)

thanks for that link - I love the commercial  :)

unfortunately I am using Linux and since you claim it does not work with open office... I am out.

I still promise - the games are fast...ish . Of course its no 3min win deck but the turns are very quick since you do not have to care about your creatures much.

sad truth of it all.
Why do you need the steals?
I would suggest using another antimatter and another eternity + AW (Eternities have been key stall cards for Eternal Crusader, Eternal Chaos by Snoweb and DSKFG by Bucky1andOnly

^ Fixed.

I now tested this for some dozen games, and I actually liked the steals here. Often I used those to take Eternity, Hourglass, Vampire Dagger, Feral Bond, Graveyard and whatnot: either stall FG or getting some additional healing.

I believe I got >50% win rate, but I didn't count games, sorry. The games that I ended up winning lasted usually some 8 mins (450-500 sec), and every time I lost, it was due to not getting enough quanta - many times I was also forced to discard cards for many rounds due to that. 15 Quantum Towers just don't seem to be enough for ~60 card decks.

All in all this deck seems to be OK like it is now. With some tweaking for better quantum-balance this deck could become really good.
