I completely agree- I got into fairly deep into a fighting game one year and players who are even just moderately better than you can make it seem like they are literally reading your mind. In fact in my post there I even mentioned that midn reading skills can make a big difference.

But what if a player was to, as I said in my post, roll a die to determine which of the three best decks he will use? Anticipating someone's actions is one thing, but anticipating the fall of a die halfway aroun the world is another thing. Even asides from that specific example I don't think anyone's prediction skills are infallible, which means that a large element of luck is involved, which may explain this "ELO turtling".

I have at least two decks that beat all those three fairly consistently, and a huge amount that beat two out of three. If someone entered bl and rolled a die to choosze 1/3, anyone'd notice it fairly quickly and use general counters.

I agree that we should give more nymphs for the BL players But I don't really wanna see lowers rewards in CL.. I know what I'm asking isn't possible anyway.

We had an interesting discussion in chat today. There are two points that i'd like to put.

[00:48:16] Higurashi: Not at all. Score is only about how much time you spent against AI.

This is for people that suggest putting a score cap. Pretty self explaining.

[00:49:24] Higurashi: Grinding AI is not an indication of skill.

And this for my campaign of separing bl/cl rewards in a totally equal way - having more ups ≠ having better skill, hence having more ups and winning with them ≠ having more rewards than a no ups player.

The idea of a score limit is indeed not a good one. My score is fairly high, or at least too high to be called a "beginner" (160k or something atm) - but I almost only farmed AI and am both new to this forum and PvP events. Forcing me to join the veterans league would spoil my fun big time.

Rework (same for both leagues): 
1st : 2*1, 1*1001 = 2 marks + 10k + 1 Shard
2nd : 1*1, 1*1001, 1*3 = 1 mark + 7k + 1 Shard
3rd : 1*1 = 1 mark + 5k
4th : 1*1001, 1*2, 1*4 = 4k + 1 Shard
5th : 1*2 = 3k
6th : 1*4 = 1k

Discuss. If no serious flaws/dislike, applied next season.

Yep, i preffer the new ones. In my opinion they have much more of a shiny feeling than the big clunky previous ones.

I made them because they were way too big.

Feel free to make better-looking 18x18 icons. That way I don't have to waste another day doing pixel art for the constructive criticism of 'ugly'.

I can't make a better icon because I suck at this.
(I said for jocking that the pic was in 15*15 but I wasn't far ^^)
If you wan't a more constructed critics :
18*18 isn't enough I think the cup is too mucj pixelised.
The cup doesn't really looks like a cup actually, it needs more details IMO.
I'm fine with the colour though this shiny yellow is cool.

I think that Beginner's League should be left to Beginners. Or at least, let beginners have a way to start a league without being hammered by some 500k more score guy with all the cards.
