I love this deck for grinding plat for electrum!  It seems to EM win fairly often and you can tailor it to win that way sometimes.  For instance, when you see you have the lockdown - don't play the Eclipse (because it'll make your Pests attack and they might kill the opponent without getting the vampric drain you need to stay at maximum health!).  Other times it's questionable if you're going to win so lay down the Eclipse and settle for a less-than-EM win.

EM wins in plat get you ~450 electrum (for only 20 electrum cost to enter).  That's 3.5 EM wins (obviously) to buy yourself an upgraded card.  To me, that alone makes this deck the ultimate plat farming tool.  Now if you're farming plat for 3 wins in a row hoping for an upgraded special spin (a worthy goal), this deck isn't for you.  It loses often.

I've gotten to where I flat out quit against any quantum towers or black holes.  If you're quick on the quit, you can move through matches quickly and while you might lose several in a row - when you win one that 20->450 electrum win is so worth it.

I've tried some of the "better way to pestal" alternatives and they didn't lock the opponent down fast enough for my liking.  They seem to suffer from bad draws more often than this one.

Awesome deck!

General Discussion / Looking for advise
« on: February 10, 2011, 01:29:53 pm »
I've been playing Elements off an on for about a year.  By now I have upgraded RoL/Hope and Rainbow decks.  At this point I pretty much just play the FGs and while I win a bit, the chance of getting an upgraded card on a spin seems too rare.  The electrum payoff from wins seems to keep me about even (considering the cost of all the losses).  I really enjoy this game but it seems insurmountable to me to get more upgraded cards.

Can I get some real solid advise on how to get more upgraded cards?  Is it really the case that I'm supposed to grind FGs for endless hours (perhaps this is why the game endures) or are there secrets and tips that I'm just not doing?

I'd appreciate the tips.  I'm just not sure I can stomach playing or hours to get 1 upped card worth 1.1k at the bazaar when a new upped deck is going to cost me ~40k.

Thanks.  I appreciate the tips.

Wow, so the state of the deck and all owned cards are stored on the client side.  Sounds ripe for the hacking.

Issue Archive / Two computers, decks desynched :(
« on: January 08, 2010, 02:07:45 am »
I played a bunch today, changed my deck around, bought some cards, and then forgot to log out of the browser.  I then went to another computer, used that one and did more of the same (new deck, new cards, +score).  Now I've come back to computer 1 and, still logged in, my deck is what it was this morning.  So I log out in an attempt to get it to load up my new deck and instead it loaded up the stuff from this morning.

Does that explanation make any sense?

Anyway, basically what it means is that all the progress I made today is gone . . . thoughts?

In-game Troubleshooting / Re: T50 Broken?

T50 is also broken for me.  I use Mac as well.  When I use my Windows machine it works.  On Mac I've tried Safari, Firefox, and Chrome.
