Also agree to let Dogg play a later round instead of me if that is possible/his wish.

Round 5 / Re: Sir Valimont (Entropy) 2 - 0 (Air) Klaymore

Quote from: Zeru
Healing yourself up from ~10 to 100 hp, casting hope and killing off all the creatures of a mentally displaced AI is for most evidence of unclear behaviour. If he took a screenshot of a desynch, we would have a base to a discussion here.

In here we have a situation like this. One person won but was naive enough not to take a screenshot. He won, but the game didn't manage to send that info on time to the second player, forcing a desynch. The AI played differently, losing it's possibility to win. Player 2 does not take a screenshot. Player 2 then continues to play the AI, slowly crushes it's offence, and in the winning turn makes a screen that suggest incredible advantage.
Zeru I don't know why you keep ignoring what is said, you just see that a 'win' from one of your player is contested so you come to defend him. That's normal but I'm sorry: you are most obviously biased. And the way you keep on accusing me of cheating without any evidence is quite revealing of this. I mean you don't played or even watched the game: your funny theories are irrelevant.

Hope was played before desync, if you had talked with your team member or read more carefully what was written you would have noticed that, and SV recognized he did not noticed I had it. If I had not played it in time I could not have mathematicaly survived his attack.

Your blabla about the AI playing bad or "differently" is nonsense. I know AI can't use voodoo properly but the fully buffed doll was already on the field when the AI took over, and for quite a while. Then what did he played so bad that I could manage to turn a loose into a win? he played a couple pillars (not playing them would have changed everything ofc), and used earthquake on my pendulums, yeah... I can totally see how SV would have had played that differently... could have saved him for sure.

About the screen "suggesting incredible advantage"... I already said before that it was NOT the point and that I never denied having been lowered to very few hp. The point of it was to show that at no moment of this game SV was in position to press the spacebar and win (you can make all the fun you want about the AI, it can still do that)

Now you start going into all these conspiracy and cheating theories / "different perspectives" from which I cheated, lied and conspired but one thing is obvious to anyone who just look at the 2 decks: Hope played = Entropy looses.
I was able to play it the turn before SV would have won and I can understand how that can pisses one off but it's a game right?

I started playing Elements few monthes ago, joined this forum and thanks to Perv, had the opportunity to join an event which I thought could be some fun. And so it was for all my first matches.
Now during the most critical point of my 2nd game versus SV, right when I play the only card that can actually save me/reverse the current/puts some more fun and excitement in the game, I see a desync happening and before I have time to talk with SV about it: he posted his 'victory'.
What first came to my mind was that since it was unclear who won, we should just play some more ! We all spend lots of times making those decks and that matchup even appeared to be challenging and interesting...But SV did not wanted to rematch and you two started calling me a lier, a faker, a cheater and so on... Despise my attempt to bring concrete evidence, which was a procedure new to me as I didn't had to take screenshots before. But no... you seem to only see it as some kind of fake I made, try to convince everybody that it is totally meaningless, that I did it wrong (which might be true nevertheless I tried) and that I should be "ashamed" about how sneaky my methods are?!
To be perfectly honest: at the very start I thought about conceding victory, not because I lost or would have lost but for the ONLY reason that you two just seemed obsessively and only interested in winning some points in a online game forum event... I'm sorry but you don't randomly accuse of everything someone you don't know anything about unless there is an aim to it.
This decision impact on my teamates so I asked them and turns out we are not conceding anything. We'll follow what SG and the warmaster decided: rematch.

Thanks for the support guys  :)
SV sent me a PM today asking if I concede the win and I answered that no.
To be honest I have a really busy starting week and like you said QuantumT: this guys is making loose my nerves so I'd be really grateful if you can sub for the rematch.
Be carefull to get as many bonds out as you can the earliest to regen enough, like I did in second match.

Ok well Sir Valimont just came back a few min on the chat, when I told him that I was busy for the next hours and if he wanted to have the rematch after that he answered that he was not back to have the rematch because he's busy too, and that he think I should consider giving him the win...
To be honest, that is what I thought doing at the very start, since it was getting into an annoying argument and since their deck has a clear advantage over ours (althought I won 2nd match it was very lucky).
But now I have to say that the guy kind of got on my nerves and I don't feel like doing so anymore, even if rematch is probably lose anyway..
I Did not wanted to take the decision by myself since the outcome affects the whole team.
What you guys suggest I do?

« on: November 28, 2010, 06:31:27 pm »
I will repeat myself so it is clear to everyone: when the desync happened I WAS in a 'bad' situation by which I mean that SV had lowered me to very few hp. I never contested that and my screenshot purpose was not to prove that I never lost those hp.

The screenshot only show that I was not killed and the AI plays does not change anything to that.

Deflag bond only changes the hp I regain on my turn, not what SV inflicts me at his. (moreover deflag was used on bond, you can see that I still have the blocked Owl Eye on the screenie)
the AI did not have to play / buff / missuse the Doll since it was already in play and buffed long ago.

Nyma: I did say on the chat that I did not see the game ending by SV 's win which is contesting his win, I had no other choice than to tell it on the forum since he posted very quickly after the match.

Zeru: I did not mean to be insulting: YOUR player has expressed his lack of intention to play rematch and if I am not wrong: refusing to play = forfeit... How is that insulting to ask if that is still his final decision?

To answer you question 10 men: I red somewhere on the forum that screenshots should be taken of the turn in which you defeat your opponent. That is why I played those few turns till I am in that position where pressing spacebar = win. I realize now that it would have been better to take another one earlier and I will do that next time something like that happens.

Edit after Warmaster decision:
I have work to do but I will be waiting in the Chat room tonight in case SV reconects for the rematch.

I have little intention of having to rematch

Will your displaced self-esteem make you forfeit that match?

You then show a screenshot that shows no desync. Well, you could have taken that screenshot from any match, including any of the 2 or 3 that did desync when we fought each other.
Yeah dude of course I actually even lost my matches against the AI so I had to call a friend who is a professional Photoshop user and in the 2 minutes between 2nd match and my post he made that fake screenshot up !

...

Paranoia is quite an obvious symptom of hysteria and I don't think either that we need this.

Quote from: Sir Valimont
assume that you will be honest and admit that you had gone down to 2 or 3 HP
I already did said I very closely survived.

Quote from: Sir Valimont
you've admitted quite honestly that the match happened as I have claimed.
I did, although I did not agree with how it ends (remember in my version I won) Too bad your 'victory' was so obvious because on the only screenshot we have from the game it is not that obvious...

Apparently klaymore now claims there was a desync after the last turn. The only possible way he could win would be for AI to conveniently not Deflag his Bond, allowing him to heal. I think it's pretty obvious from a good sportsmanship perspective that I would win.

Furthermore, I find it rather ridiculous that his screenshot below is a good 10 turns after the supposed "desync" which is lovely because he waited until he healed all the way up, killed my Voodoo, and made it look like it wasn't close. In fact it was a lopsided victory in the opposite direction.
I just explained why I did not take screenshot before. Concerning the AI: he did not had to conveniently deflag something else since desync happened AFTER Valimont deflaged on of my bond. What had me survived is the Hope.
THe point of my screenie is to show that you did NOT kill me. not to show that I had at the end of the match a strong advantage. I know that when you desynced I was nearly down.

On another note the way you started accusing me of fake desync on our first game, told me to check MY connection and crying that it is unfair that I saw your deck, and the way you now say that my screenshot is ridiculous is starting to get on my nerves.
First: my conection is fine, thanks: maybe check yours?
Second: You saw my deck too, or at least my Mark which gives out information to you too if you looked at our previous round decks.
Third: It is your fault if you don't read what people write. As I said a couple times now deflag hitted the bond.
Fourth: I am not responsible for you not seing Hope and leaving the game as soon as you think you won.
Fifth: Nothing is less obvious than your 'victory' "From a good sportsmanship perspective"
Now I really don't care that much about that match outcome but I think you could show a bit more respect starting with being more carefull before randomly accusing people.

From what turned out of the lil discussion we had after the match: Sir Valimont apparently did not noticed I had a Hope out (played the turn before he would have had killed me). Thanks to it: his last attack did not kill me and I could come back. Maybe you did not notice it and left to post straight away?
About the fact that I did not took screenshot before: I actually never had to do that before, did not even knew how to and had to ask someone in the chat to explain me how to (Ascabi I think). At that time I had already played few turns against the AI. I also thought that the screenshots should be of the turn in which victory is decided.

Good match but for some reason I saw Valimont desync our last game... and I won against AI so I dunno...

Mid-Term exams have started for me since last week and I also got lot of pressure to spend more time on my job since a colleague got fired last week...
My situation is kind of complicated at the moment... I will be able to find a timeslot to play my match but not much for helping with the strat and testing...  :-[
Again really sorry about that.
