Is the ability an innate skill or actively triggered ability (i.e. - can it be lobotomized off, or is it always on Wraith | Spectre, regardless of whatever you do to it)?It should be lobtomizable, like Venom.
The difference between unupped and upped version is pretty huge. With these type of creatures, HP is maybe more important than attack. You dont bring such creature for damage, you bring it to have something that will be hard to take off the field. Great counter to Fire shield for example, or slow CC cards like Plague. So IMO, it should have rather low attack in both versions, with decent HP.Yeah, Rage Pot is a problem. In order to make it completly useless you would need to reduce the HP to 5, but thats in range of Lightning, and as you said, this creature is not mainly a damage dealer, it´s a creature that you barely can get rid off. But I don´t have any clues how to prevent the abuse of Rage Pot. Making it immaterial is senseless...maybe you just can´t buff the creature? What´s about a skill like the Dive creatures have? At the end of the turn it will return to normal Stats(or at least attack)?
Rage Pots should definitely be considered while trying to balance this card. One Rage pot is basically just increasing its attack by 6, and creature will heal complete damage portion of Rage in the very same turn. Not saying the combo is broken, just that you cannot judge its power level by simply looking at the card alone.
