Hello I am new here but i hope my card ideas will make it to the top XD thanx for the chance the card is:

First off water already has a card called artic squid. Secondly, miss chances are what I would call a "no fun mechanic". Its really not all that fun to watch someone elses attack miss randomly but its painful when it happens to your units. Above and beyond that darkness already has dusk mantel which would probably be overpowered when combined with your mechanic.(the assumption would be that units would then have a 25% chance of hitting)

The main way I judge a card is the question, does the game need this? I always like more things that force duo colors but other than that I feel this card doesnt bring anything else needed to the game.(also consider that water's shield needs units to hit to be able to be most effective)

No 50% is good.
Otherwise nobody wants the card because it would suck.

Since this is a squid and there is an arctic squid, make it so that casting freeze on it will turn it into an Arctic Squid.
Makes sense thematically, and it's kinda like the Skeleton :death/Rewind :time interaction

Back to the card, i don't like very much effects based on % because they're not reliable in the short run and don't help in making a solid strategy.
I'd prefer a sure miss that wears off after a turn, and maybe delay the squid (because it have to produce the ink again!).
And with a lower cost.

In short, i'd use this kind of ability:
UnuppedUpped
:darkness: Ink
Target creature miss its next attack. Squid is delayed.
:darkness :darkness: Blind
Target creature miss its next 2 attacks. Squid is delayed.

I like TheManuz's ability idea. Also, I think you mean Calamari, not Calamary.
