  Yes, there's no meaning behind it. But they fit by their colours: Apple and Carrot are red (fire). Corn and Banana are yellow (Time) and Potatoes and (some) Pears are brown (Earth).

By the way, this post is the funniest I have read in 3 days.

These cards should be able to fuse SoI style (while an Ominous latin chant plays in the background obviously) into the almighty Fruit Salad!

Anyways, I'm quite puzzled that the unupped and upped versions of the fruits have way different abilities.

I think spinach is a little overpowerd...

Spinach is OP, especially if it can be stacked.
Green Banana is UP to Deflag.
Blackberry is UP to Precog.
Gummibear is VERY OP.
Pear is OP in certain combinations.
Banana seems OP.
Corn is UP to TStorm.
Carrot is UP to Forest Spirit.
(Lack of inclusion on this list does not mean the other cards are balanced.)
