sorry to say this but SG wont allow another FG event (if the result from the last event is not apparent enough)

I think the major problem with the last one was the disappearance of the organiser, so everyone lost interest.

I think there's a slight chance she'd allow it if an official organiser ran it.

Last FG event was never-ending, which is why I "banned" it. I have nothing against the concept of an FG event, so if someone can run one that doesn't last 3-4 months, then by all means do.

But since the last one was not that long ago, and we have so many NEW ideas, why not use some of those new ideas first, and then go with this one? It's nice to have some variation.

This is something worth revisiting, but the question is whether using the actual FG decks is best or using a tweak on that.  What would you think of changing this into something with more of a deckbuilding aspect to it?  I've been toying with an "Emissaries of the False Gods" concept based on this but instead of using the exact FG decks players would be allowed to craft any deck they wanted, but would be restricted to using only the cards present in the deck of the FG they represent.  This will make it more of an event where players can have creativity and originality rather than just a "plug and play" system where they are handed a deck to play and just play it.

I support the idea TStar. Last time I played as Miracle, and both myself and the person who took over for me lost every match, simply because of the deck.

There also needs to be a tight limit on the amount of time to play matches, otherwise it'll just be a repeat of the chaos we had last time.

If these things were in place, I'm sure the event could be interesting and enjoyable.
