It's just Hammer/Gavel for Air.  It's adding to the card pool, which is nice.

Yup.  And flying gavels aren't blocked by Wings either, so this really is pretty much the same card.

Fun fact: starting hand of 1 nova, 4 longbows, 3 flying weapons = 28 damage, but you still can't get to 100 damage in three turns without . 

Oh but you can. In fact, it's even possible to get a 2 turn win (In a mono-Aether).

Of course, you would have to be very lucky.

If there's a 2 turn win deck, I want to test it.  3 turn wins are RARE with a fire rush, 4 turn wins are RARE with a shrieker or arenaline rush.

I had a 3 turn win with my T50 rainbow...   Elite Wyrm + Blessing + Rage Potion on turn 1... Dive + TU on turn 2... mop up on turn 3... extremely lucky draw + my quantum tower generated 2 entropy for my supernovas...

Those figures rely on getting Quantum Towers to provide you with the exact quanta you need.

Yeah, you guys are right. Perhaps it'll never happen, but that doesn't mean it's not possible, eh?

In any case, I was referring to:

3x QT
1x Fractal
4x Ball Lighting.

Get 9 or 8 and whatever else, then play 4 BLs and then 7 from Fractal, 11*5=55.

Draw a Fractal next turn and get the quanta to use it on your saved BL, giving you 9*5=45 more damage to seal the win with 100 total damage.

Getting way off topic though.

In any case: Pretty much anything you can do with this card you can mirror with Gavel. So it's nothing special, but it's a great card all the same.

Yep, Im just thinking... are we going to have ranged weapons to all elements, that are copies of the old weapons? This is a bit boring, isnt it? Im up to new weapons, but would prefer a lot if they can add something new to the game, instead of just go through a very single shield.

In fact it looks like the stupid way I said "Wings" was created. Lets first get the cure, then get the sick: add airborne status to creatures that have wings in their images, and add a web skill to creatures that have spider in their name... now lets create a ranged weapon that is a copy of another card.

This is just a better version of Gavel. It is better because it is ranged.

Finally, Air has an answer the Earth and Gravity's Hammer/Gavel. Looking forward to this. But I wonder if Zanz'll find a way to expand this to other Elements?
