Well, when I first started (a long time ago), I picked air, not knowing anything about the whole game.

After I found the forum, chat etc. And few times of resetting my account, I started with fire, which I really liked, because of it's speed and nice tactics (I played a dragon-bolt deck).

So, when the first war started, I wanted to join team fire, sadly, I the team was already filled (Or I might have been in the winning team too), so I searched for another team that still needed some more members, and I found out Essence still needed some more team members. So I joined team water, and during that war, I started to like water more and more (even though we almost lost). And by the end of my (short) war, water had become my favorite element, because of his versatility, and the nice element of surprise it provides. And, since that war, water has stayed my favourite element, so, as soon as the next war started, I tried to make sure I got in team water, in which I succeeded, and, now I'm starting to like water even more.

:entropybig Entropy :entropybig

Well..  Back when i started, I chose water as my first element and loved it, sporting a chrysaora spam deck. Later on, after getting two cards upgraded (My arsenic/ice shield), i wanted to try T50 and up and found out.. this deck didn't quite cut it..

Few account resets later and forum foraging, I stumbled across my next deck. A Mono-Aether Dragon rush deck. Loved it so much, i started to upgrade it, farming T50 like crazy, even the occasional AI5. Finally, I got brave and wanted to take the final step, into the dreaded FG games. Again, I faced the same problem.. False Gods > That deck.

Debating on what to try.. I finally settled on Scaredgirl's "ALMOST" un-upgraded FG deck (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,1615.0.html)..  And within a few games.. My first FG victory! I was ecstatic! After that more wins followed, upgraded card won after another, and more upgrades were made, to the point of nearly fully upgrading(Maybe I did fully upgrade, I can't quite remember..) But.. i noticed one flaw.. I was often just.. sitting there, waiting for my few QT's that I'd draw, not giving me enough quanta, so my deck searching began, once again..

I hadn't really found any deck to my liking, the majority of them being time-bows or something off the wall that would have taken quite a long time to make/test. (At the time I didn't know about the trainer) So at this time hope had been released, and noticed that "Hope+RoL+Fractal" decks were all the rage, and decided.. Hey, why not. -joins the crowd- Selling off my SG deck, and upgrading the necessities of it to make it "work". To my unfortunate realization.. It.. Didn't work very well (For me, I know the deck itself, when built right and fully upgraded, it kicks major butt), in fact, I was losing MORE, even vs FG's I should've beaten with ease.. Back to the drawing board...

Having to nearly start from scratch and doing some searching for both a new deck to make some money and a new FG deck, I found SG's Fast draw unupped pillarless AI3 grinder (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,6298.0.html) and..  Yaladilae's Butterfly Angel (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,4212.0.html), both decks that I <33 to this day. This was my first brush with nova.. and I started to take a liking to it. (Main reason I chose Yaladilae's deck, was to try out Snovas) Many.. Many.. MANY Ai3/Pvp 1 matches later.. I made Yaladilae's deck with a few alterations of course. It proved to increase my FG win ratio by a good 15%! (A guess-timate, don't take it at face-value) It was at this time that I fell in love with Supernova. It was so successful, I was able to create an alteration of Terroking's Speed + Rainbow = Win (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,5786.0.html) and a standard graboid rush  (both fully upgraded) just for kicks within a month-ish of playing with the deck!

So to close this long, drawn out story, Entropy is my favorite element because of one card.. Nova/Supernova. It is so versatile, and with a splash of entropy and some novas, you can create one hell of a rainbow.. anything! I wouldn't be where I am today without the wonders of Nova and Supernova. Yes, I understand there are other awesome Entropy cards, but that's the one that makes me say,"Entropy is my main/favorite element"
Are you tired of those old boring rushes? Well look no further!

Hmmm. When I first started, in almost the beginning of the year, I knew nothing about elements. So just for the hell of it, I went scrolling through the elements. I then picked  :time Time  :time . In the beginning, I liked it a lot, and even build my first deck (Which I won't post, but involved 6 fate eggs and 16 time pillars.. xD). So after a while, I thought (like I always do every time I start a game).. "What if -Insert element here- is better?" And so, I proceeded to go switching around elements for about 3 weeks.

For 3 weeks I restarted my account, switching between ALL elements. I finally settled down with a mark of aether. At the time, I still played in kongregate. I proceeded to build a Mono-Aether to kill some FG's... and needless to say, all was working great. I then met the forums, in which I met the tournaments, and then I got in and won my first tournament. It was nice, dandy and stuff. I chose a green nymph, for the hell of it.

So, about 1 week after that tournament, I made the same idiotic thing I did in the start - With several upped cards, a decent fg grinder, and One nymph, I reset my account. I don't know why, I just don't.

And so I didn't play elements for a while. I came back, and started playing again in one of the elements I had loved when I was doing all the 12-elements test, which is darkness. After a while, I proceeded to exchange to a No-Land Stompy deck, but Darkness was still one of my favorite elements.

So after I had finally settled down, Metamorphosis was free, I hadn't screwed up anything and had even got another green nymph from the oracle (Zomg :D) I decided to try another element that at the time I liked, which was Gravity. And so, I tested gravity.. again. And I end up discovering I liked gravity, just as much as Darkness and Time. I never played time much, but I always had a soft spot for it, being my first element. And I lived happily ever after.

So, overall, it's a tie between three elements - Gravity, Time, and Darkness.

When I first tried this game (in Kong), and as a former MtG player who mostly ejoyed control decks, I picked :timeTIME after thoroughly reading all the elements' descriptions, as I thought it would be the element that would suit me the most. Oh boy was I right.

Since the beginning I enjoyed the little surprises the eggs gave me, and how I could stop the enemy's gameplay with rewinds as my dragons and the occasional hard hitter I could get from an egg took him down. After fiddling around with the various setups  :time time offers (Scarabs, Eggs, Dragons + Anubis...) I switched to the all-abused SG Rainbow (post SD nerf) in hopes of actually defeating any FG. I have to say I was really lucky to have an Eternity at that time, as I had picked it for obvious reasons. I never did so, and after 1-2 weeks of farming AI3 with an FG bow and not getting any Nymphs  :'(, I left this game in despair.

And that is how I came to choose my favourite element.

-Not quite yet! The most important part is still missing!

-You bet! I haven't told you the epic story of how I came back here!

It all started in an afternoon, when I was bored as hell. I somehow decided to recover my old account in EtG, but this time I went to the forums. I had expedted them to be ful of people like "1337 Hax0rz says: I haz hax, u can't beet meh Iamtehbest". Instead, people here were kind (most of them) and helping (most of them), and their work here made me stay. There was also a little difference with the game this time (aside from a lot of new cards): FARMS (thank you so much T50 people).

After that, I began to try a lot of new decks & card combos, learning the strategies the pros here used, as well as some basic deckbuilding. This time everything went really fast. In no time I had tune SG's rainbow to my liking and started farming FGs, though with little to no luck, and so I went back to grinding AI3 and T50, getting a really big card pool even before starting to actually farm them FGs, which at last I achieved after switching to RoL/Hope.

All this said, I like :fireFIRE and :lightLIGHT more and more, but :timeTIME will always hold a spot in my heart, even though I rarely use it anymore.

the first time i played elements was way back when elements first came out (it was pretty close to when it first came out) i picked fire. i had no idea how to play and when i looked at my cousins deck he already had upped cards and he was fighting FGs and ai5s. anyway i realized i was never good at the game at that point because i never got a score higher than 80. so i quit for a while. about a month later i started playing again and i made a bunch of new accounts using an element and i random element to make a duo, i used all the elements so i had 12 accounts. my best account was my life account.  i had made a forest spirit deck and i had gotten to like 800 score.  that was a while ago and i thought hey this deck is really good, so i fought an FG and it was miracle. and i got whooped badly. anyways i liked that deck so i went with it and i got even higher score but i started to lose. so i am now at my n1nja-tweak account and i made a bunch of life decks and i liked them all. so that is y life is one of my favs. darkness is at the same spot on my list of favs as life.  i dont really remember how i became to like darkness, but i think is was when my cousin made this dark deck and i liked it so i made it and it was awesome.  then i heard about adrenaline vampires and that made me like it even more. i quit the dark deck and went back to life and made jmdt's life rush and i played that deck for a while.  then i was bored with that and made that dark deck again except i made a little different and i had an epic win/lose streak against ai3 so i stuck with that and i learned about all the dark cards and different dark decks and the darkness became my second number 1 element.  so that is y life and darkness are my number 1 elements

Very literally, I flipped a coin.

I didn't really have a favorite element for the first few months that I played.  I started with :aether , and I liked it, but I also really liked :life .  Then, when the call came for Masters, I was all, "kewl, I'll be Masta 4 Lyfe!" -- except that Ohmega had already asked.  I knew that Aether would be hotly contested, so I looked at the remaining elements, and I said "which of these is the most underrated?" cause really, I wanted a challenge.  And I flipped a coin between :water and :air

When it came up :water , I was all "Okie dokies," 'cause I knew that :water had more dependencies on other elements than any other and that fact alone was going to make it tough to get really pimped out in a basically duo-only environment, but, hey, that was kind of the point of choosing an underdog, right?

So, then, I actually started really seriously studying Water's cards and themes and whatnot, and the more I looked at the cards, the more impressed I was.  :water seriously is one of the best elements in the game, hands down.  If I get kicked off my post as Master of Water, I might consider applying for a different Master position just for the experience, but I'll always have a place in my heart for the fishy, frigid, codependent, toxic little Nymph Queen I call :water .
If something happens and you think it deserves my attention, feel free to PM me. Other than that, I'm probably here if you want to shoot the breeze.

Ice has always been my favorite element. Debilitating, with both offensive and defensive capabilities, it's a very cool element.

In Elements, however, there is no Ice element. Instead, after a lengthy internal debate, I picked Water as my starting element. Water was thematically close to Ice, and I liked the description the menu offered of it. Things like freezing and purifying poison sounded like they would be useful. I started off with a Mono-Water that worked well enough for the lower-level AI. I found myself intrigued by the small but potent Chrysaora, and slowly shifted the creature into the main focus of the deck, eventually forming a deck similar to the infamous Speed Poison. I liked my Poison deck. Poison bypassed all forms of defense and shields, amassing ever larger in a small purple ticking time-bomb of doom. Unblockable, and only removable through the rarely-used Purify... I loved it.

If it hadn't been for the Beginner's League, I may be telling you that my favorite element is either Water or Death.

In the Beginner's League, I quickly realized the inherent disadvantage of only having one deck in a series of best-of-three matches in which decks can be substituted for others. I set myself to coming up with a second deck to avoid this. It didn't take long for me to decide. I had watched another element with interest and approval during my previous poison counter-slinging. And so, I built a mono deck of this element, and I have never considered taking another element as my main element since.

I present, my main element:  :darkness

Darkness' theme of theft appealed to me in that, unlike other element, Darkness both gained something, and my opponent lost something simultaneously. Quanta theft in form of the Devourer, HP theft in form of the Vampire, Permanent theft in form of Steal... Darkness has everything. CC, PC, QC, Healing... Darkness cards also tend to be versatile, too, which I also liked. For example, Drain Life can be used as CC, or when fueled by Devourers, an alternate win-condition against certain deck types. Steal is flexible in that is can be used to steal a sole pillar, quanta depriving an opponent, being used to keep your opponent from utilizing a certain resource, being used to grant yourself access to a certain resource, or more than one of the above. Vamparism both harms the opponent, bringing you closer to the goal of reducing their HP to 0, and healing you, hindering your opponent's goal of reducing you to 0 HP.

I could go on, but, simply put, Darkness is just awesome. I even beat my first FG (Decay) using a Mono-Dark deck.

I myself have no favorite element. Currently they all are too undefined to stand out on their own to really appeal to me. However i prefer playing fire and entropy. They are strong and they can do pretty much everything which is OP only when compared to other elements all others.

When i started i choose between Gravity and Time. Gravity because it looked the best and gravity is the least understood force around us, Time on the other hand, in a card game card advantage is the most important factor usually and as such i picked that Time.
Time was very weak though and i soon found monofire and graboidrush.

The one element that I've liked least from the start was death, but now I really like it.

Well... i was asked to post my story here so.... here? *yes its horrible*
I join elements on kong trying to get the achievements done or something of that nature, i logged in and chose death *because it looked cool* and used gravity/death for about 10000 score. I then had my account reset for something with kong *that stupid glitch* and made a new account, i decided to see what each element was like and went through them all, playing each for like a week, and then i hit darkness. I loved darkness, just because your could regenerate your health and win with an EM, and then i used darkness/life for adrenaline and heals, soon after i went full on life and haven't regretted it once.

when i first started elements i started to play an entropy mono deck, carefully choosing each card for perfection. later, i grew bored of the game and quit. about 6 months prior to today i restarted my playing using SG's ultimate false god killer. i farmed and farmed and farmed lv 5vs but it was SO boring (except for the random awesome mutation) so i sold my deck to make a custom mummy/ reverse time deck. it failed. then, i sold my remaining upgrades to make my RoL/ hope deck. i quickly upgraded my deck, reaching 10k score in the process, but still something was missing. i tried speed rainbow which was fun, but to slow to upgrade, then i tried life EM rush. perfect.
which is why my favorite element is entropy, because in the end, for me the journey didn't matter, just the simple description they gave to all newbies about the entropy starter deck, namely:
entropy is randomness; it is the thing that makes a glass unfix-able once shattered... they love to confuse their opponent...which tells you something important about my personality.
