I've wanted to make a danmaku game for quite a while now, and in the progress I got more and more inspired by Elements, so now I decided why not just make a danmaku game about elements. The bosses could be the different generals from the different wars and there could be one game featuring each war. after a while I decided to make a list of all the generals and decide who was going to be the boss at what stage, and thus also deciding what kind of stages there wore going to be, then I drew this simple map using paint:

I need some inspiration/help on sprites and shot types for the bosses though. If an actual general posts a suggestion on his/her boss the request will be done no question if I'm able to, if not maybe someone else could help. Suggestions will be considered even if they go against what I've written so far (of cause). I may also need actual names for at least a couple of the stages, for instance "Heaven" since that's not really what I'm going to make, just something close-ish (it's going to be kind of Greek inspired, and an original name would be cool). Dialogue is also needed, and I suppose it would be cool having dialogue that would somewhat fit how the generals would respond, thus I'll happily use anything the generals may want, as long as the dialogues are in sync with each other and fit in to a storyline that makes some sort of sense.
This project will take an undefined amount of time, so don't get too high hopes. That said, please don't make that keep you from commenting.

Fudge yeah, final Stage with Nap~ That's a badass frickin' stage. But um.. why is Zeru there thrice?

Oh, and for people that haven't played Touhou, don't worry if you're a midboss. They're no less badass at all.

As for sprites, well.. for most a version of their most famous avatar would be the easiest to identify. For me, you just need a gif of Marisa from Fire Emblem doing her usual badass stuff.

Well... I was using the wiki page as source when I started this.
The way I went about it was quite simple, and most likely far from perfect: general of element placing last in War#x would be first midboss in game#x, second to last would be first boss, and so on proceeding through the game, ending with general of wining team being finall boss. If people wanted me to do Team underworld too the plan was simply to make an extra stage.
However this is nothing but my opinions.

Ah, Zeru is just overrepresented because you've only made after the first three Wars so far. Makes sense.
