now i know that this shield only blocks stuff with MORE than 5 hp but it is very powerful. im sure it upends many many tactics because so many tactics involves creatures with high health. im not suggesting anything big like increasing the maximum hp of the animal it blocks but i do think that it should cost a little more to play perhaps.

this is just my opinion and others may differ greatly (i may even get some constructive feedback from other opinions). this is just a small suggestion and not even a direct request to nerf it.

Dragons. Shriekers. Immortals. Golems. Fireflies. RoLs. Phoenixes. Destroyers.

And you're saying this card is OP? I don't think I get your point.

I find it rather uncommon that someone would build a deck while keeping in mind that the opponent may play a gravity shield, unless they are creating a counterdeck.
Sometimes the gravity shield is completely useless. Nerf it?

abyss crawlers get blocked, and things with growth, and upped (and sometimes unupped) otyughs, and scarabs when massed, and upped cockatrices, and plenty of nymphs, and lycanthropes, and many more i could name were it not 0:45 am. blessing is also often rendered useless. basically half the creatures in elements get blocked. it may just be me but i don't like it that much.

merely increase the cost a teeny bit, nothing too great. at first i was sceptical about the use of GS but now i think otherwise. and i don't really think about it that much in view of my tactic, i have simply observed how it messes stuff up way too often for my liking

It sounds like gravity shield is effective on YOUR deck and not the decks of the metagame. One person observing a card is not valid without statistical evidence because people often lean towards one playstyle. This card is not that common and the cards it is effective on are not that common. While my experience in competitive play is limited compared to that of others, most players will agree with me when I say that this card is not one of the stronger ones.

I disagree greatly. Gravity shield is a good card. It is also a fair card. Considering how little it is used, I see absolutely no reason to nerf it.

I would assume there are many more decks that make a Gravity shield useless (even when used properly in conjunction with other cards) than decks that are made useless by Gravity shield.

Also, despite you saying 'not even a direct request to nerf it', I would add a poll (on this topic)  since you are in the 'Nerf this Card' section. If you are having difficulty with this I am sure the community (or me) could help with this.

...upped cockatrices...
Just to point this out, those don't get blocked. It blocks things with more then 5 HP, not 5 HP or more.

I'm against nerfing it. It doesn't seem OP to me, it seems pretty fair to be honest.
I think it would need a nerf though if it did block 5 HP as well, but meh. ^^

Can you describe such a situation and exactly how gravity shield was detrimental to it?

Gravity shield completely stops some decks. For example, mono aether dimensional shields and phase dragons deck. Most decks, however, have some way of hitting it. A fair amount of decks have PC or some way of getting around shields (poison, momentum). The remaining decks have most of their creatures able to hit this. While it is strong against certain rare decks, it is not such a huge threat that one would consider facing it when deckbuilding. How often have you changed your deck, weakened it even, because it was walled by gravity shield? Personally I have never done this because most decks naturally have a way of getting around it.

Killybob, make sure you have used the card before creating a nerf thread. It is difficult to create a strong deck centered around it, and those decks have many weaknesses.

rage potion is a good way to get past the shield.

i believe one of the most common posts in the nerf and buff section talk about using the card before asking for a buff or a nerf
