It takes away loads of quanta and it only take about 4 to slow your deck down a ton. This combined with fractal would be fine, but it gets burrow too! Making it impossible to target with CC! Post your thoughts. Poll goes on for 8 days. (8 days and not 7 because of christmas)

They do no damage unboosted and little damage with nightfall. They are easier to kill than pillars and take longer to play. Quantum control is most effective early game because late game a lot of pillars and pendulums have been played. Except, these are slower than pillars.

Also, burrowed devourer with fractal is three elements and too unbalanced for a rainbow. Seems hard to balance and would take a while.

I can't count how many times my cards have been put off one, two, three turns because my opponent had four of these cretins out by turn three or four. Up the cost!

With that Sanctuary idea coming up Pests need a buff, no doubt about it. They slow down Darkness decks as well and don't even generate quanta if your opponent has no quanta to drain.

pest shuld be nerfed. if your oppenent get same amount out as you pillars, you dead.
so my idea is it shuld cost more, or have a chance to steal qauntum, but it probly need attack points then.
let me know what ya think ^^

A pillar costs 0quanta +1card each.
Devouer costs 2 :darkness +1card (or 2 :darkness+[4 :life+1card]/activations or 2 :darkness+[10 :aether +1card]/number of open slots in hand)

A tower costs -1quanta +1card each.
Pest costs 2 :darkness +1card (or 2 :darkness+[3 :life+1card]/activations or 2 :darkness+[9 :aether +1card]/number of open slots in hand)

Cost of Devouer|Pest >> Cost of Pillar|Tower
Therefore if balanced
Power of Devouer|Pest >> Power of Pillar|Tower

OT, you forgot to compare the fact that Pest Drains your opponent's quanta. With that in effect, you *can* justify pest>pillar. I agree with you though. If against a Pestal, you can get out a decent amount of damage before being lockdowned with a good rush. Pests are simply pests. Not lethal.

I was comparing the cost and power of (drain and produce) vs (produce).
Since the cost is 2-3 times as great so must the effect if the cards are balanced.
Drain+produce is 2-3 times as great as produce hence the cards are balanced.
