Really interesting site that ranks albums based on how they appear in all the top album lists combined.

The top 10 of all time are:
  • OK Computer, Radiohead
  • The Dark Side of the Moon, Pink Floyd
  • Revolver, The Beatles
  • Abbey Road, The Beatles
  • Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, The Beatles
  • Nevermind, Nirvana
  • The Beatles (The White Album), The Beatles
  • Led Zeppelin IV, Led Zeppelin
  • Kid A, Radiohead
  • London Calling, The Clash

Bold I've listened to.  I was never a big Radiohead till In Rainbows but I downloaded all their stuff and it's pretty good.  OK Computer dominates in rank score over second place 90,625 to 77,672, but I dunno if it's that good.

Where does your favourite album rank?  Is This It is #29.

Great albums (can vouch for the Beatles, Nirvana, and Zeppelin ones anyways).  But did you have the United Kingdom filter turned on or is this just a British website o_O ?  (yes I know Nirvana isn't British but the list favors British bands as a whole).  But really though, solid list.

And I suppose this is only best Rock band albums?  If an aggregate list of top albums doesn't include Michael Jackson's Thriller (love him or hate him), I'd question it.  I suppose these are the faults of crowd-sourcing.  IMDB's top 250 is another good example.  The Avengers #59 above A Clockwork Orange or any other dozens of movies on that list? Yikes.
