Team Light

I'm excited to be working with each of you over the next few months. You have been drafted because I think each of you is skilled, hard working and mature. I plan on approaching things a little differently than most Generals. Like kev before me I plan to lead this team as a democracy, your ideas, creativity, commitment and sense of humour are essential for us to have fun while winning this war!

While I occasionally publicly complain about RNG losses in leagues or tournies - I try not to do so in war. And I ask that you do the same during our time with Team Light. We have a team of people ready to share your pain with how the RNG treated you, let's not diminish the event by belittling our opponent, even if we played another 100 times they'd not be likely to win more than 2 games.


I know that many of you have not yet had the opportunity to get to know each other yet. Take a few moments to write an introduction to yourself, we're going to be spending lots of time together over the next while, what are things we should know about you?

Hi, I'm Jen
This is my 5th Elements War (War #3 - Time, War #4 Darkness, War #6 Air, War #7 Aether), but my first as general. I'm looking forward to the fun with all of you. As you may have guessed I have a fair bit of experience with all facets of war, and I LOVE deck building.
If you have any questions feel free to ask - I love hanging out just to chat.

I'm including a table to list our nymphs and marks - hopefully this will make it easier to know what we can include in decks.

Hello everyone! I'm Cheesy111, and to start off I'd like to echo many of the sentiments Jen-i brought up.  If you're seeing this section, I am happy to have you, and I believe that you will be a positive influence on our team.

Personally, I'm not that experienced with Light in War, so I'm going to be a relative newbie.  I'm hoping that my prior War/tournament/leagues experience will help make up for this deficit, but I'll also be relying on teammates - there's no way I could do this alone.

This is gonna be my 7th war. So I think I'm considered to be a war veteran. Bot at the same time  this is my firsttime with  , so I'm very curious to see how does this element works during war

If you wanna know a bit about me btw, I'm a 29 year old researcher, currently doing my PhD in molecular biology.
Unfortunately, due to my other commitments, my free time is much more limited copared to what it used to be. That means I cannot be as active as I'd like to be. I will try to contribute everyday, but unfortunately I wont be able to carry the team alone (as I used to do in several previous wars due to almost everyone dropping out).

As you may already know, I was in Team Life last war - was pretty much doing most of work (due to the fact that Marsu disappeared) - it was good exp, but very annoying one. Hope this won't happen with this team and we will act as a Team

I'm in a stage of opening my online business, so most of my time will go there, but I'm pretty sure I'd be available on evenings/nights.

Hi, I'm shinki12345, here is a few things about me:

1) I'm 5'11 and a half, brown hair, brown eyes, normal hair, skinny/somewhat muscular(165.6 pounds atm) and am male.
2) I turned 18 a few months ago and am a senior in high school. I took easy stuff out of fear of failing due to my addiction to cards games(no, this isn't a joke, but you may laugh anyway).
3) I am terrible at every sport that isn't wrestling, but I am on the varsity team at my high school at 152 pounds(yes, I know I have a lot of weight to lose). I live in minnesota(a province thats big on wrestling in the US), so the competition is shit your pants terrifying, everyone is huge and mean.
4) I have played magic for about as long as I've been playing elements, although I have spent about a year playing competitively in MTG and was way above average compared to most people I faced, despite not having access to as many expensive cards. Out of all the people at both my local stores, I did the second best despite not having any first/second round bi's at the local Grand prix.
5) If I'm wrong, I prefer to know why so I don't make the same mistake again. The more details the better, I won't be insulted if a more experience player(aka everyone on this team) tells me I am dead wrong as long as they explain why.
6) I believe my timezone is CMT, so at the time I post this the time is 11:00-11:30~ PM.
7) I LOOOOOVE playtesting decks. If there is a particular deck you want tested, send it to me over a message and request decks you want it to be playtested against.
