Hi Everybody from team Life I don't wnat to be the Sour Sally and put a damper on things, but I do agree with rem about getting a bit of extra help if possible from some of the team for this round. I realize that real life can get busy at times and that unexpected events can occur, so if you are a bit less active at times, cool i understand shit happens. However I would ask that if you know that you may be unactive ahead of time, please try to let us know, or if something does come up, please let us know afterwards whenever you can so we're not just sitting in the dark twiddling our thumbs waiting. Personally I would rather find out everybody is having a stupid busy weekend then be wondering why no one showed up to help with no explaination.
I still remember my first war, I did shit all at the start due to shyness and not really understanding what was really happening and a bit of fear for messing up my team and having everything be my fault, I was advised by Gen. Willing at the time to just do my best and any help I could do was better then nothing. Some of my stuff was still crap, but I didn't feel as bad and managed to connect with my fellow teammates a bit b/c I was around enough to both work with them and share some good laughs.
Anyways I would hope that everyone can at least throw out one idea this round, either deck idea or salvage/discard idea, as every idea posted here can shed light in a different direction that we may have thought of, or be the key to sorting out the right deck combination. We've now had two full rounds go by, so everyone has seen how much work, thought, and time has been put into creating and organizing both the decks and salvage/discards, and as the rounds move forward they will only get harder. Also if you have not yet already, please try and contact your opponent (PM,chat,e-mail,carrier pigieon)for the round during the deckbuilding phase so that if the timezone change is crappy, we can try to arrange for our free sub ahead of time. After taking a quick look at the discards, I have that bad feeling where we may have to discard one of our decks and just try to stablize the remaining ones, as we are discarding 51 cards [(4 losses*12 cards each) + 3 card penalty] and we are gaining 24 cards (2 wins*12 cards each) netting us with a total loss of 27 cards.
I need to go get some sleep soon, so I'll try to be back tomorrow to take a better look at potential decks.
