I like control in general, however i think my definition of it is a little different then the commonly accepted one for elements. I play magic the gathering a lot and so sometimes the idea of a 30 card deck that can use 12 different colors is kinda crazy to me
That being said, the deck you showed is known to me as "land destruction" which I suppose is the best thing to control here in elements as there are no counterspells
My current deck grinds against AI4 (halfbloods right?) winning about 7/8ths of the time, of those 7 times 5 are EM wins, of those 5 EMs I always have more then 100hp and 1in5 is 500hp raking in 280 money
It kinda uses one of everything useful except creatures, screw them all!
In magic i always enjoyed trying to play creatureless control decks so I did the same thing here using aether shields and mindgates to simply steal his deck win condition, if I don't I can simply out last anyone with 6 dimension shields and a bonewall using the eternity to "unlive" forever. My greatest epiphany was using 1 of each time, fire, earth, and aether pendulums to make sure I can use those color spells and constantly feed the mindgates and DS shields and taking out pulverizer (sounds backwards but...it kept getting in the way) and throwing in a few Deflagrations and an extra steal.
Advice would be immensely appreciated for it, here is the code if you wanna check it out in the trainer.

My favorite victory with it to date is when I mindgated a hope and an owl eye against a faerie queen hope deck
One of my decks did go purely straight out for decimating the other players quanta, but... it really didnt do that well and I generally abandoned the deck strat. for now.
And my old deck was rainbow control with time mark, using 6 sundials and 3 bonewalls with scarabs. But after the nerf on the shards it didnt heal quite enough, just lacked a little bit of punch here and there.
I am currently working on a rainbow FG grinder deck (above), I have several quantuum towers, a bonewall, 2 upped green shards (from the era when you had to upgrade them to make them work at all), a heavy armor, and I already have multiple eternities, pulverizers, and other rare weapons (I only really want lobotomizers as i never managed to find one) back then I had the idea for a flying weapon deck but decided that was best kept for after I had a fully equipped grinder deck. in retrospect i could have done some things differently, but with 200-300 cards I don't feel like restarting from the beginning... now if only I could equip my arena deck better...
