New player at a crossroads

Hi all, excited to be joining the forums.  I've been playing for a little over a week now and am loving the heck out of this game!  I'm to the point now where I'm grinding AI3 with a life deck as well as grinding bronze with a darkness deck.  I even have an arena deck that's running 14-2 right now in silver (lucky oracle roll with black dragons  )   I have a few upgraded cards and at least one of most of the weapons, but mostly am running unupped.

And that's why I'm at a crossroads.  I've got enough cash to upgrade 5 cards right now but don't really know what my goal should be.  I could upgrade my darkness deck (which I really enjoy playing) and get some more consistency farming bronze, or I could do something else.  I just don't know if it's worth it for me to target a deck that would be good for farming higher leagues or whether I should go for a FG deck.

And of course I'll share my decks.  The life deck is a slight tweak on the basic rush tactic.  I pulled out some cockatrices because they're really only creature filler and replaced them with a mitosis and two heals.  The heals help get a few extra EMs while grinding and the mitosis is to mitigate the cases where I'm running a quanta surplus.

If you're upgrading, I suggest you upgrade some commonly used cards. Like supernova, houglasses, rays of light, etc.

I've made two supernovas and two hourglasses so I can go the rainbow route, but I'm still not sure what my goal should be.  Would you recommend I go for FG farming or for silver/gold/plat farming?  My thought process right now is that once I figure out what area I should grind, I can then pick out a deck and start upgrading cards accordingly.

Really depends. I'd personally recommend you go the arena route first, so you can pick up some shards of readiness so then you can go build instosis, a really good FG killer. If you're going for money, silver/gold seems to be the best option. You can earn quite a bit of score, cash, and cards there. Additionally, you can even win some (upgraded if in gold) rare cards for consecutive wins. A simple SNbow should serve you quite well.

I would suggest building a False God Farmer first.  That way, you can farm false gods to create the decks you want to make (you spin upgraded cards after a win against false gods, so you can make 1000+ electrum after winning a card).  I would suggest Instosis, one of the strongest False God farmers out there or RoL/Hope, a farmer with a small amount of upgrades.  However, you will need four shards of readiness for instosis and three lobotomizers for RoL/Hope. Farm BRONZE for these rares.  You already have two supernovas and two electrum hourglasses, so Instosis would be better. Here are the links to the decks.

burpcow and furball, thanks for the advice.  I'm going to go for bronze farming so I can build one of those decks.  I guess it depends on whether I can fill up lobos or SoRs first.

If you're farming Bronze, Shards of Serendipity/Sacrifice are commonly used in Arena Farming Decks for Gold/Plat.

Yea, Instosis is beast.  Just farm bronze to get those shards of readiness.
