[suspicious]I've been wanting to play Elements for a while. It's by far the nicest CCG out there. I discovered it on Kongregate, among all those other ones. However, this one is freaking hard! ^^
I was never a great deck builder and I've still got no clue. But I will appreciate your thoughts and play my way through the decks y'all built. :)

If you want a simple deck, then pick a random element, say Water, change your mark to that element (which is Water) buy 15 (Water) Pillars and at least 4 (Ice) Dragons, then buy 11 more random (Water) cards such as Freeze, Toadfish, Ice Shield, etc. You should now have a mediocre 30-card deck!

Disclaimer: Results may vary. I may be slightly biased towards one element. I am not responsible for any losses you incur through this process.

Of course, the deck is far from perfect, but it does get you a feel of the game. There are plenty of guides on these forums, although you should note that most of the knowledge comes from experience. Don't be afraid to pop into chat once in a while, and enjoy your stay. :)

you can also use this to build decks. it'll be a rush deck with some cc,pc,... whatever your element has
1 element
5 pillars
5 pendulums
2 weapons
12 low to mid cost creatures
6 spells

It's hard to learn if you copy decks. I don't like this.
Good tips for beginners:
1. Stick to one element. You start with a 2-element-deck - sell all cards that are not from your main element. 2-element-decks can be tricky to build at first.
2. The smaller your deck is, the better. Try to reduce it to 30 cards, at most 35. This makes your draws way more stable.
3. Don't think too complicated at the start. Creatures are great. Fancy combinations can be tested later on.

Thanks for the warm welcome and the advice. I'll keep it in mind and start experimenting. :)
