Another newb

Hey everyone.  Been playing for a month or so now.  Bumped into the game on Kongregate and have really enjoyed it.  I suck at deck building, so finding this place was extremely helpful.  After testing a few unupped decks on here I finally settled on an unupped Psiontal deck and have been farming 4's ever since.  Since then I've upgraded a good 12 cards for my deck.  Many thanks to everyone for all the advice.

Speaking of which, what are those 12 upped cards? You know, you can start reliably farm False Gods with six, if you upped the right cards and know how to play it.

Yep, as Discord said. You may wish to get a few more Lobotomizers, though, so that you can get one more reliably in duels, be it against machine (read: PvE) or man (read: PvP).

If you're interested to farm False Gods, there are at least two decks that can operate well enough with just six upgraded cards.
The first, RoL-Hope, runs on the premise that Rays of Light (upped Photons), a Light-emitting unit, fuels Hope to block most of the enemy's damage so that you(r dragon) can move in for the kill.
The second, Limitless Speed, runs on the premise that you're covering yourself up by chaining Dimensional Shields before you suddenly drop 200 unblockable damage on the False God, killing him instantly.

Or even better, Firecell works with no upgrades whatsoever! Basman mentioned the more reliable ones (I personally prefer LS over RoL-Hope), but for just starting, Firecell is perfect.

I had bad luck with the firecell deck, mostly just getting all the combo cards in hand. The rainbow decks seem like the most fun tho. The RoL-Hope deck is probably more my style.

Another way is grinding arena, build Pdials and THEN go farming FGs  8)
