Stolen Ice shield take no effect?

I do not know whether this is a bug or just my bad luck, so I post it here.

I steal an upgraded Ice shield from my opponent, and in the next two turns, while there is 3 creature in his desk, but all 6 attacks doesn't trigger the frozen effect

Is that only cause by bad luck?

Yep I think it is bad luck, at least when I steal them they tend to work just fine.

No, it is not (unlikely). You have 5000 players playing 50 games a day. (random numbers obv.) If everyone opens a thread when Ice Shield freezes 0/6, Dusk Mantle dodges 0/6, Pandemonium kills 0/x etc. you could shut this part of the forum down.

The opposite is true It's perfect RNG, because things like this happen.

The Ice shield only has 30% freeze though.

RNG trolls you sometimes. Remember that theoretical probabilities only apply on average (large intervals).

Also note that the Freeze effect will never proc if the attack is fully blocked by the shield's basic damage reduction effect to begin with (or if the attack is for negative damage, if I recall correctly).

I have try again and the stolen shield take effect this time

Maybe I am bad luck again, the chance of freeze is only 20%~25%

Again, your sample size was 4. 1/4 = 25%, but it's not a very good statistic. If it was 1000/4000, you'd have a better cause for argument. I know there was once a similar issue with dusk mantle, but zanzarino set up a tester as a proof. Not sure if its still there.

Law of Large Numbers applies here. That 30% freeze chance will work out in the (very) long run.

The funny thing is that sometimes in my code I use:

If (Math.random()>.5){
   do something
}
 
Sometimes I use:
If (Math.random()<.5){
   do something
}

In both cases I get complaints about the RNG being biased, which means that not only it is biased, it can read your mind   
It decreases the returned number when you would prefer a big number and increases it when you want a small number!

P.S. : If you are thinking that I should consider the case of the random number being ==.50000000000000000000000000000000 well, lol: I'll let you figure out why it does not matter.
