Invalid redeem code after refreshing

Greetings to you all.

I am new to this game and I was enjoying it a lot.
I just made a 50$ donation and received a redeem code.
Once inserted, many cards were shown but I couldn't click on anything (neither the cards nor menu nor deck nor anything).
So I refreshed my page, and all the gift cards were gone. Also, the redeem code I received seems not valid anymore.

Is there a way to solve this or did I just throw 50$ in the trash can?

It is normal that redeem codes become invalid once they are entered once (whether or not the rewards are received).
However, if you really couldn't click any of the cards, it may have something to do with the game server having been changed recently. Can anybody confirm?

Also, I thought donors got 1 code per $5 of donation. Has this been changed?

Once you used the reedem code, it is invalid. You have to be sure that you can take the card w/o anything to happen.

You get 1 code everytime you donate at least 5$, so if he could pay 5$ 10 times, he would have received 10 codes.

I received one code and when I inserted it there were many cards. Perhaps 10?
Anyway, I couldn't do anything, for the interface froze.

You could choose between these cards. So only 1.

Either way, I think your flash froze and, well... redeem codes don't come back.

What you made was technically a "donation", not a "purchase", so there isn't much that can be done.

I can understand that it must be depressing...
If what you wanted were some shards, I can help you get them using PVP 2 (pretty sure that's not against the rules..right?) They'll be unupped, but depending on your points, you'll get a fair bit off money winning the games too.

From what I've seen, this stuff usually gets sorted out to everyone's satisfaction, but not usually until after a long thread of random people saying the person is screwed.

I know you were probably expecting reward code/rares in return for your donation.  However, please try to keep in mind that a donation (which the button is labeled and it is the word you used here) is a free gift so it comes across quite harsh to say that you will never donate again because one time wasn't rewarded.  (No, I'm not saying this sort of result is the norm, should be tolerated, or is OK.)

Well, as much as we'd love for people to just donate out of the kindness of their hearts, I doubt that the majority of people just donate because they love the game and they expect incentive to donate. Try and put yourself in his shoes. If I gave $50 to a game for one shard and didn't get anything, I'd be rather upset.
