Welcome to Project Factory!Project Factory is a collaborated section for the most accomplished and motivated card designers. It is used to start and finish different kinds of
collaborative projects that are related to card designs, ranging from cost efficiency studies to how viable a new element would be. For solo projects, you may want to consider looking into
Design Theory or
the Series Section instead.
Before you start a project here, it is recommended that you have made
at least 30 posts in the forums. We also recommend that you make a few card ideas to get a feel for how EtG is balanced.
To start a project, you need to first determine whether it's a
Study or a
Project. Studies focus more on discussing and investigating various card idea habits in the forum (e.g.
Simplicity vs Complexity,
Design Reflection) whereas Projects focus more on actual card creation and/or making things that expand on card creation. (E.g.
The 13th Element,
Playtesting System).
Once that's done, feel free to start your project with your fellow card designers and design away! If you have any questions, feel free to ask our current Card Curators:
