So are you saying that you don't like your Devourer|Pest being eaten by Otyugh|Elite Otyugh? Well..
NO buff!
NO buff!

Dragon: Sure, Phase dragon is not Ruby or Silurian but it gives aether part of its specificity. It's true that you will most likely play it in mono-(or heavy in aether)-decks but said decks are good (see here (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,3154.0.html)). Note that it is also the case for Massive dragon but this one is not immortal and has only 8 atk ... Phase dragon is IMO fine as it is.Nymph useless? ??? Bit exaggerating are we?
Recluse: recluse is an excellent mid-range creature. It is one of the better damage/cost ratio in game. Sure it's tricky to use it with fractal but it's possible (see here (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,14300.0.html)). If you prefer you can play it with TU (an excellent card) and Lightning (another very good one) to give fast and scary control decks (see here (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,5700.0.html)).
Nymph: Here, I totally agree with you. Turquoise nymph is useless. Anubis is a lot better for the same purpose. You could say that you might want to use it in mono-aether. Yes but in aether most creatures are already immortal ... so what ... so Buff it, yeah! (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,10275.0.html). This is, IMO, the first change aether needs.
Fractal buff: I'm among those who believe that the nerf was deserved. I even think it was not a good enough nerf. The effect should have been nerfed not the cost.
New cards: As you said Aether received 2 new cards recently. Mingate is used (as a main or secondary card) in a lot of FG-decks. I believe it's a good one. Silence still needs to find it's place but it is not a bad one either.
In conclusion, please Zanz, buff turquoise Nymph...
YAY!!! Finally all those dozens, if not hundreds, requests for those 2 things are added! This version is going to be pure gold. Thank you Zanz! You need to put in a mark code as well.Trainer now has ability to import deck for the AI to play. Very nice.Off-topic: How do you get that to work? I tried using it, but it read AI mark not found when I put in a deck code.
In other words, the mark is now part of the deck code, and you need to include it when importing an AI deck.
THAT COMMENT WAS OP!Yeah, Dragoon1140 needs to be nerfed to Dragoon1130!
Ice Bolt to dome freezes weapon too, you don't need Voodoo Doll for that.whats with all the talk about crusader having a minor buff? and what does it have to do with this change to shockwave? (i'm pretty sure the answer to the first question will also answer my second question but no harm in asking the relation)Ice Bolt/Voodoo freezes weapon. Shockwave now has the ability to destroy frozen weapons in the weapon slot when the player is targeted. Because a Frozen weapon can now be destroyed by Shockwave when it is either Animated or in the weapon slot, a more reliable method of keeping that weapon's ability on the field is to have Crusader Endow it (which consequently means you would need 2 Shockwaves and 2 Freeze effects just to get rid of the pair). Therefore Crusader gets a minor buff.
I've added a second mindgate. It's often overkill, but I hatehatehate games in which the mindgate is the last or second to last card. Two mindgates solves the problem. I've also considered adding a "rewind" card instead of a 2nd mindgate. This would serve the same purpose, but also can be used offensively in a tight spot. That said, I think the 2nd mindgate can be more useful and sometimes speeds up games.By a "rewind" card I assume you mean target for Eternity. If so, I'd use one of the best CC creature that is somehow often overlooked: Parasite. The attack 1 on it makes it actually better than the upped version (Bloodsucker, attack 3), because it won't freeze from Permafrost Shield.
It seems to work well. Most games take fooooorever, but whatevs, it's strangely entertaining.
yes, but none of those are relevant, because none of them break Invisibility. But does the Invisibility protect creatures against those?
More mass CC: Retrovirus, Flooding|Inundation, Fire Shield|Buckler, Thorn|Spine Carapace, and Skull Shield|Buckler after buff.oh wait, yeah, that too...Pandemonium would like a word with youmass CC??? last time I checked, there are only 3... RoF, thunderstorm, and plagueNot if the opponent uses mass creature control.and it protects creatures and other permanents too...Now it syncs with Dim shieldMy thoughts exactly. can now duo with instead of for shield protection. And the protection will last just as long.
I think this is a nice buff for Cloak. Can't say I've used it, but maybe this card change will make it more desirable to use.
rarely ever you see thunderstorm... plague is more common, but not by much, RoF is really the only threat
(not sure if unstable gas can break the invisibility too)
Zse, you are starting to p*ss me off!
I would advise you not to post in this thread when you win a new nymph this Sunday, Finland is not THAT far away!
ehhh. I love this deck more and more. But the original light brigade was too big, 30 card version seems to be thin. I like a 40 card version. I could use 2 hourglass one more crusader (or two) and protect artifact card, maybe more quantum towers. My personal opinion is that this is pretty close for optimal build, at least for me. I'm only thinking of adding 1 Antimatter (or 2) and going up to 31-32 cards while doing so. But like I said, that's just my opinion and since everyone has their own styles for playing, having those added cards may fit your style better. Please post here later how your changes have affected to results.
What do you think?
