Perhaps it is possible to create creatures with synergy?
E.g.

Skeleton King 3/5. All Skeletons get +1/+1. If Skeleton King dies, all Skeletons get -1/-1.

: Enigma Dragon: All Dragons gain Momentum, Drain 
and +2/+2. If Enigma Dragon dies, All Dragons cannot attack for one turn.
E.g.
